Which color version should I choose for my personal designer brand—I'd love honest feedback on which one feels strongest and most professional?

i know all look bad and not to see but i want to ask which one is look good. and this first time i create logo design at why this look bad

Design is solving a problem, and I understand that. This is my personal logo, so there is no client brief. I’m mainly trying to decide which color version communicates my identity as a graphic designer best. I’d like to know which one feels strongest, most professional, and why.

Hey everyone, I’m back again with another design.

First, thank you to everyone who gave feedback on my previous posts. I’ve been trying to actually apply the suggestions — especially researching first, sketching ideas, and thinking more about the design problem instead of jumping straight into the final design.

Project

This is a promotional poster for Clayline Studio’s beginner pottery workshop.

The goal is to encourage beginners to make their first mug in one weekend and book a spot.

Target audience

Adults 18–35, especially students, young professionals, and people looking for a creative, hands-on weekend activity.

The main idea was to communicate:
a break from routine + hands-on experience + creativity + learning + a memorable weekend.

My design approach

I wanted the poster to feel calm, warm, friendly, creative, hands-on, and approachable.

I focused on:

  • Clear visual hierarchy
  • Strong contrast and readable typography
  • Warm, limited color palette
  • White space
  • Organic shapes / imagery
  • Editorial-style layout
  • Modular grid
  • Keeping the booking information easy to find

The intended information flow is:

HOOK → EXPERIENCE → PRICE → BOOK

I still feel like I’m missing something, though.

So I’d really appreciate honest, constructive criticism. Please tell me what you don't like, what feels weak, confusing, unnecessary, or could be improved — and most importantly, why you feel that way.

I'm completely okay with criticism. Just please keep it constructive rather than unnecessarily harsh. I’m here to learn, not defend the design.

And again, thank you to everyone who commented on my previous work. Your feedback has genuinely helped me improve, and I’m trying to put that advice into practice.

What would you improve in this poster, and why?

Hey everyone, I’m back again with another design.

First, thank you to everyone who gave feedback on my previous posts. I’ve genuinely been trying to apply the suggestions — especially doing more research, sketching before designing, and thinking more about the concept instead of jumping straight into the final design.

But I still feel like I’m not doing something quite right.

So I’d really appreciate some honest feedback on this one.

Please tell me what you don’t like, what feels weak, or what you think I could improve. But please also tell me why you feel that way, so I can actually understand the problem and learn from it.

I’m completely okay with criticism — just please don’t roast me into another dimension 😂. I’m here to learn, not to defend the design.

And again, thank you to everyone who commented on my previous posts. Your feedback has genuinely helped me improve, and I’m trying to put that advice into practice.

What would you change or improve in this design?

Looking to do a few graphic design projects for free — looking for real clients/NGOs

Hey everyone!

I'm a beginner graphic designer currently looking for a few real projects to work on for free.

I'm doing this because I want to learn what it's actually like to work with a client — not just make designs from imaginary briefs.

I'm especially interested in learning:

- How clients explain what they need

- How to understand a client's actual problem

- How to turn a rough idea into a clear design brief

- How to ask the right questions

- How to handle feedback and revisions

- How to communicate during a project

- How to work within real-world limitations

I can help with things like:

• Social media posts

• Posters

• Flyers

• Simple campaign graphics

• Event graphics

• Basic branding/visual design

• Other small graphic design tasks

I'm offering this for free because I don't have a strong portfolio yet and I want real-world experience.

If you have a project that needs a designer, feel free to comment or DM me. If you genuinely like the work and want to pay me, that's completely up to you, but there's no expectation of payment.

I'm also particularly interested in working with NGOs or small organizations where the design can actually be useful.

If you know an NGO, small business, community organization, student organization, or anyone who could use some design help, I'd really appreciate a recommendation.

I'm looking for real collaboration and learning, not just something to put in a portfolio.

Thanks!

Looking for Feedback on My First Fiction Book Cover — Especially the Illustration

I’m looking for honest feedback on this book cover. This is my first time working on a fiction-style book cover, so I know there are probably a lot of things that aren’t working yet.

One thing I want to clarify: the illustration is AI-generated.

I’m a graphic designer, not an illustrator or an artist. I’m currently learning graphic design, but I’m not at the stage where I can create illustrations/artwork from scratch myself. That’s why I’m using AI for the illustration part of this project.

So if you’re an illustrator or artist, I’d especially appreciate your perspective. If you’re interested in talking about the illustration or how it could be improved, feel free to comment or message me.

And yes, I’m not offering money. Because apparently “I’ll credit you” is not a valid payment method. 💀

Seriously though, I’m mainly here to learn. If you think the illustration looks bad, artificial, disconnected from the design, or simply doesn’t work — please tell me. I’m completely open to criticism.

I’d also appreciate feedback on the composition, typography, hierarchy, visual storytelling, and overall cover design.

This is my first attempt at fiction book-cover design, so I’m expecting it to be rough.

AI-generated illustration. Graphic design and cover design by me.
Feedback and criticism are very welcome.

Would love some honest feedback on this

I’m practicing graphic design and would really appreciate some feedback on this one.

Don’t feel like you have to be nice just because I made it 😅 If something feels off, tell me what feels off and why. And if you think something works, I’d love to know why that works too.

I’m mainly trying to improve my layout, typography, hierarchy, spacing, composition, and overall visual communication.

Just looking for honest, constructive feedback — you can point out what’s bad, I just don’t need the “this is fucking terrible” type of comments lol.

What would you change?

Looking for Graphic Design Study Partners! 🎨

Hi everyone!

I'm currently learning graphic design and I'm looking for other people who are also in the learning stage. I think it's much easier and more motivating to improve when you have people to learn with.

My idea is to create a small group where we can:

  • Share our designs and get honest feedback
  • Ask questions and help each other
  • Share useful resources, tutorials, and inspiration
  • Practice design challenges together
  • Stay accountable and motivated
  • Talk about design principles, typography, color, composition, layouts, and anything related to graphic design

You don't need to be an expert. Beginners are welcome! The goal is simply to learn together and improve consistently.

If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a DM. If enough people join, we can create a Discord or another group to learn together.

Let's grow as designers together! 🚀

Looking for an honest design critique on this minimalism poster (Typography, Composition, Hierarchy, Concept, etc.)

Hi everyone,

I've been practicing graphic design and I'm trying to improve my ability to think like a designer instead of just making something that "looks good."

This poster is about minimalism. The main idea is that peace comes from owning less and valuing what truly matters.

I'd really appreciate honest criticism—don't worry about hurting my feelings. I'd rather know what's weak than only hear compliments.

Could you critique it based on these points?

  • First impression: What is the first thing you notice?
  • Message: Does the concept communicate "minimalism" clearly?
  • Composition: Is the layout balanced? Does anything feel awkward?
  • Visual hierarchy: Does your eye move naturally through the design?
  • Typography: Font choice, sizing, spacing, and alignment.
  • Color palette: Does the limited color palette work? Is the red rectangle helping or hurting the composition?
  • Image choice: Does the chair effectively represent the theme, or would another visual work better?
  • Negative space: Does the whitespace feel intentional or simply empty?
  • Professional quality: Does this feel like something you'd see in a magazine, design book, or poster campaign?
  • Overall rating (1–10): And what would make it one point higher?
