Seiko 5 crown o'ring disintegrated

Seiko 5 crown o'ring disintegrated

Living in Australia, I bought this Seiko 5 Sport 4R36-07GO Day-Date blue dial stainless steel band, brand new about 2 years ago.

I wear most days, sometimes wear it in swimming at the beach and shower with it on afterwards. Last week, I noticed moisture was inside.

Took the back off, the gasket looks intact, no damage. Dry the thing, put all back together test in shower and moisture came back. Decide to take the crown out to see, (it's a push in pull out crown).

IT LOOKS LIKE the o'ring on the crown has disintegrated and it's completely gone. There was some black dust residue around.

How does this happen? To a 2 yr old watch? I am sure it is a genuine watch. less

Super fees on 500K

This post follows my earlier post here https://www.reddit.com/r/RaizAU/s/VESbflsNfM

I was questioning Raiz Super fees seems very high when compared to HostPlus and Australian Super both offers Index funds investment.

For a $500K Super portfolio Raiz fees is doubled others.

Did I do my maths wrong?

Keeping UI 8.0

Who is choosing not updating to UI 8.5?

8.5 has arrived to my phone and I turned off the update. Keeping it at 8.0 for now.

Media player via TV

https://a.aliexpress.com/_msUgtmf

I want to get this one to watch internet movies via Firefox connected to a HD TV via HDMI.

Will it struggle? Lag? Or good?

Anyone used one of these and how was your experience?

This one is fanless, will it get hot?

Raiz Super

Been seeing a few people joining Raiz Super, want to know what is your principal reason can't be for the fees.

I have been with HostPlus Super for a while invested in their index funds. As an example working on $350K principle HostPlus annual fee is roughly $323, but for Raiz is $3250. So people can't be joing Raiz Super for their fees.

HostPlus only have 3 index funds to chose from International, Australin and Bonds Index. While Raiz has a lot of ETFs so you can custom your portfolio to gear for a greater return.

An example of this is again for $350K at 10% return at HostPlus would be $35K but with Raiz say at 15% (admit there is higher risks) would be $52.5K which would adequately cover the high cost in fees.

Started with HS because of the Barefoot Investor book that keeps on drumming low fees, so Raiz seems a no no from that point of view.

Those who have joined Raiz Super do you do it because of the wide ETF selection and possible greater returns with custom portfolio? Has it been worth while?

Scientist searching for concept of love

Searching for a movie made around 2020? Or a little earlier? It's an english speaking movie, not sure if it's made in US, Aust, UK or Canada etc. not a mainstream movie more a video made for rental.

It's set in the future where people in the future have eliminated the concept of love / romance to reduce conflict so people is match through a computer or something like that.

The beginning scene starts with a few scientists or worker talking about how in the past (present day) people use to love and they joke it almost ended the world but one scientist wanted to explore what love actually is so he goes back in time to find out.

Remember these people no longer have concept or feelings of love, he goes back to the past and starts meeting people and talking about trying to find / understand the conpet of love. In the process this scientist ends up meeting a girl and he fell in love and decided not to go back to the future.
