I ripped my armor

After 7 individual days of fighting my armor, using the duck tape mannequin whatever method to make a pattern I can't make a simple chest plate. I don't know how to make it size properly, no matter how much I redo, add, subtract, adjust not a single time has it fit correctly.

Idk I thought cosplay was like a creative outlet 😭 and fun I didn't know you needed 80+ years in architecture and a masters in black magic. My fist are balled, my teeth are clenched, and my project is in the trash 🗑️. If there are any tips, magic spells, or something else I'm missing can you please help me out 🙂‍↕️ I'm not giving up just starting over.

My friend thinks I'm the foam guy cause I did a single shoulder pad and a few weapons, but honestly I'm stumped with chest plates or maybe I'm mentally screaming I can't so thust I can't 😭 idk

[Online] [5e 2024] [CST] time to switch spots

Okay! So! Howdy and hello! 👋🏾 I've been a GM for maybe 3 years in and off, with my longest stretch being a online campaign being 1 of those years. I'm looking for a one shot or short campaign to join again as a player! I have a few characters in mind I've personally always wanted to use and just never had the scenario to put them in soooo if there's any GM out there who sees a character they like hmu! I'm free most weekends, and most weekdays after 4pm CST

About me: I'm a 22 year old bisexual POC. I love to roleplay, but can get a lil nervous around new people. So! I tend to try and talk a lot before sessions to get to know my fellow players. I'm in love w the swordsmen trope so forgive me a lot of my builds will be focused on it 😭. I tend to really love the idea of combo moves, scenes playing out like an anime, for example a booming blade of an enemy, or grappling him. Then the party wizard pops a guiding bolt through us both "SPECIAL BEAM CANNON" style.

• Cane Mercer: lvl 6 Goliath ( fire ancestry) fighter • champion. How I have him built is to be the ultimate duelist with two swords, he's very cocky, charming, and sometimes selfish. At times he can be greedy which imo every party needs a lil gold hoarder from time to time.

• Bellamre Agaricus: lvl 6 Wood elf druid • circle of spores.

Morbid sense of humor, and general fascination with all things dead or undead. If higher levels are allowed I would absolutely multi class into a grave domain cleric seeing as death naturally produces mushrooms for my player creating a "through death life is born" motif I think would be really interesting.

I'm a DM for a party of 4 players irl. For the most part everyone has the real liked the campaign no one says I'm doing a bad job or anything as DM. As far as arguments go we've only really had one revolving around a elf who thought she was immune to being charmed and not just having advantage. That's another story tho 🙂‍↕️

My question is after a year and some change running this campaign, we've had increasingly longer hiatuses between sessions. When we first started it was weekly and I understood I was very lucky for that. As time went one of our Monk had a daughter and began missing sessions frequently, but this was nothing I wasn't okay with. He had a LIVING being to take care of I wasn't gonna complain about him not being a deadbeat 😭.

Holidays come by and that's another month away from the table, okay understandable. Our wizard starts missing sessions due to a promotion at work causing them to have to travel to conventions. Our druid is a cosplayer who consistently takes off sessions to work on their outfits for conventions. Leaving only the paladin and myself.

Things slow down, I assume people are free again to run the session, but I'm starting to get messages saying players just "don't feel like it", which hurts my feelings cause of how much effort I put into the sessions. Mind you I do artwork for players, NPC, creatures, find music, do voices, pre-write and deep dives into their characters. For them to "not feel like it so I took a month break to myself to get away from the headspace of a DM. Return offer up bi weekly sessions, and they agree. However similar issues are still around players not making it to sessions either on time, or at all and I've put all this work into a session.

so my question is. Is it time to just cut the campaign loose?

Update: tysm for all the replies. Got a lot of good suggestions, many of which I've already done 😅 like telling them the long breaks, and cancellations start getting to me, but I'll offer running the campaign as an online adventure in the future.

I also understand to a to point I am just a lil sensitive about not seeing my friends as often cause really DND has turned into just about the only way I can see my friends & sister included. So I've been holding onto this session as my life line to them, but if things do end they end... Time for a new campaign, and come to terms people drift a part 🙂‍↕️

3&4 man party level 7

Your party was once a well-established group of adventurers and experienced dungeon divers. After a falling out, however, you went your separate ways and took up mundane, boring professions. It is essential that your current jobs be lackluster: a postman, an accountant at the city bank, or perhaps a bartender

.

3 years after your falling out

During the spring season, you are each given a letter pleading for you to rejoin once more for one last dungeon. The sender is the wife of a former party member, begging for her husband to be found after he went missing in the labyrinthine tunnels beneath an abandoned city.

Traverse beneath the earth's crust and fight goblins, skeletons, and fiends alike in an old-fashioned game of Dungeons & Dragons titled; One Last Job.
