The factory strap on this watch was honestly terrible, so I barely wore it. My girlfriend gifted me this strap recently and it completely changed the watch's appeal for me.

I was deciding between a croc and a teju lizard pattern. In the end we felt croc would be a bit too loud since the dial already has a lot going on, so we went with the teju instead.

I think it complements the dial without trying to steal the show. What do you guys think?

I'm also open to suggestions if you think there's another strap that would suit this dial or something suited for different/special occasions.

Will the misprint be as noticeable on a 35mm dial size as it is here on the pictures? I waited more than a month for this QC, wouldn't wanna wait again for something trivial. Apart from that, everything looks pretty solid to me.

• Dial Printing: The markers at "III" and "IIII" are overflowing a teeny-tiny bit, acceptable. The "Swiss Made" is looking like that due to frosting, asked for more pictures.

• Hand Alignment: Unclear in the images, usually not an issue?
• Bezel: Nothing to see for this model.
• Solid End Links (SELs): NA.
• Timegrapher numbers: Good?
• Anything else you notice: The serial engraving on back is of different depth than other prints around it.

This is the second QC post me RL-ing the first one. The engraving seems to be like this on all GF v2 models recently and isn't that big of a deal. Don't think that the "Swiss Made" print is overflowing in this model, looks like that mostly due to frosting, have asked for better and clearer pictures of that area.

Was waiting on someone in the mall when I decided to go and have a look around in Ethos boutique as I was eyeing a PRX for some time.

Given my wrist size, it wore too big due to integrated bracelets.

That’s when my eyes fell on this Alpinist. I had watched a few videos of it on launch and couldn’t resist the “Teal Pine” dial.

Fell in the same price bracket too, so got this instead, couldn’t be happier :)
