Need University Suggestions for MS in AI/ML Spring/Jan 2027 - Moderate Budget, Good ROI & Better Visa Prospects

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply for the Spring January 2027 intake for a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Computer Science AI/ML specialization in the United States and would really appreciate your suggestions.

My Profile
• Bachelor’s: B.Tech in Computer Science
• CGPA: 7.5/10
• Work Experience: 4 years as a Software Developer

What I’m Looking For
• Universities offering MS in AI, Machine Learning, or MSCS with AI/ML specialization
• Medium tuition fee good value for money
• Good academic reputation and strong AI curriculum
• Strong internship and job opportunities after graduation and STEM-designated programs
• Universities where my profile has a realistic chance of admission
• Universities that generally have a good record of students obtaining F-1 visas
I understand visas are decided individually, but I’d like to avoid universities with poor credibility or very high visa refusal trends.

Questions

  1. Which universities would you recommend for my profile?
  2. How would you categorize them into:
    •Ambitious
    •Target
    • Safe

If you were in my position, which 8–10 universities would you apply to?

Are there any universities I should avoid due to poor ROI or weak job outcomes?

If anyone with a similar CGPA around 7\.5 and 3–5 years of work experience got admitted, I’d love to hear about your experience.

I’m looking for honest advice from recent applicants, current students, and alumni.

Thanks in advance!

Need skincare advice for acne marks, pores, and overall skin improvement (26M)

I’m a 26-year-old male looking to improve my skin and would appreciate some honest feedback and recommendations.

  1. A few active pimples on my forehead and cheeks
  2. Acne marks/post-acne spots on my cheeks
  3. Visible pores and uneven skin texture
  4. Darkness under my eyes
  5. Unsure if I have any tanning or pigmentation issues

No major skincare routine at the moment.

I would love advice on:

  1. What skin type do I appear to have (oily, combination, etc.)?
  2. What are the main issues you notice?
  3. How can I reduce acne marks and improve skin texture?
  4. Are my pores enlarged, and can they be minimised?
  5. Do I seem tanned or unevenly pigmented?
Any recommendations for a beginner skincare routine?

Thanks in advance!

Which MS in CS/AI universities (USA) should I choose and what are my visa chances?

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to pursue my Master’s in Computer Science / AI in the US for Fall intake and I would really appreciate your advice on selecting the right universities.
My_qualifications:
3.5+ years of experience in software development
7.48 CGPA in Bachelor’s
GRE already completed

Planning STEM MS (CS / AI / Data Science)

These are the universities I’m considering:

• Pace University (MS CS)
• Florida Atlantic University (MS CS)
• George Mason University (INTO pathway)
• California State University, Fullerton (MS CS)
• University of Cincinnati (MEng CS)
• Illinois State University (MS CS)
• Purdue University Northwest (MS CS)
• University of Central Missouri (MS DS/AI)
• California State University, East Bay (MS CS AI/ML)
• DePaul University (MS AI)
My main concerns:
Visa approval chances (F1 visa)
ROI and job opportunities after graduation
Course quality and reputation
Safe options vs ambitious options
I’m not trying to chase only top-ranked universities — I want a balance of:
✔ Good visa chances
✔ Good learning + internships
✔ Reasonable tuition fees
If you’ve studied in any of these universities or know about them, please share your honest suggestions. Also open to removing/adding universities if some are not worth it.
Thanks a lot in advance! 🙏

What is the current F-1 visa approval situation for Indians?

Hi everyone!

I’m planning to pursue an MS in the USA for Fall 2027 and would appreciate some advice from those who have gone through the process.

My_qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with 7.48 CGPA
3.5+ years of experience as a Developer
• Interested in Computer Science / related technology programs

I have a few questions:
• How much does my 3.5+ years of work experience help with university admissions?
• What range of universities (safe, moderate, ambitious) should I target with my CGPA?
• What is the current F-1 visa approval situation for Indian students?
• What are some common mistakes applicants make during admissions and visa interviews?

Any advice regarding scholarships, assistantships, internships, and job opportunities after graduation?
I’d really appreciate profile evaluations, university suggestions, and any insights from students who had a similar GPA and work experience.
Thank you
