I’m sorry back because I had bad blood work

I’m trying to get off the forums but I’ve been having horrible increasing pain, and stiffness especially in the mornings, alongside my twitching. I am honestly suffering so much despite PT. My naturopath did my bloodwork and said my CBC showed some signs of inflammation and asked if I was sick. I said no. I’m really stressed about this because I really feel like something awful is going on and I am particularly very afraid of the big bad things.

I had mildly elevated WBC, monocytes, and my neutrophils are high.

I’ve been panicking since I got these results and I’m scared because she wants to retest next week and repeat with other inflammatory markers. I’m very afraid rn I’ve been crying for hours. In a crisis once again.

I can’t move on

Despite normal EMG and testing I really don’t feel like I can move on. This whole process has been so traumatic for me and I’m trying so hard but I just can’t stop thinking that the worst is coming for me. Every morning I wonder if I’ll be able to walk or use my hands again. I’m scared.

EMG results

Was told not ALS in the slightest and doctor was very certain. Neuromuscular doc said he has never been wrong. but this is my EMG report and I’m very scared now

Right upper extremity EMG shows no acute or chronic muscle membrane instability but chronic neuropathic motor unit abnormalities are seen in the median innervated abductor policis brevis
Right upper extremity NCS shows focal slowing of median sensory and motor conductions through carpal tunnel area.
Pre and post carpal tunnel stimulation study shows significant loss of median CMAP amplitude through right carpal tunnel area.
Left upper extremity EMG shows no acute or chronic muscle membrane instability but chronic neuropathic motor unit abnormalities are seen in the median innervated abductor policis brevis
Left upper extremity NCS shows focal slowing of median sensory and motor conductions through carpal tunnel area.
Pre and post carpal tunnel stimulation study shows significant loss of median CMAP amplitude through left carpal tunnel area.
Bilateral lower extremity EMG shows no acute, chronic, or old abnormalities of the muscle membranes or motor units.
Bilateral superficial peroneal sensory nerve conduction study exams are normal.
Right peroneal and bilateral tibial motor nerve conduction exams are normal.

The doctor said I was fine and just had mild carpal tunnel so now I’m very stressed because it seems that after looking at this it’s more serious?

I don’t feel like I have symptoms of carpal tunnel at all except maybe my right thumb had gone tingly on and off at times

How possible is it to have the big bad stuff after clean EMG and exams

I’m so sorry I read stories of people with normal EMG who died of very bad things or got very bad things like ALS or MSA or things like that . 28F and like sorry for the spam I just feel like I’m In a crisis all over again. I had my EMG almost 3 weeks ago and I was told everything was ok by the neuromuscular doctor and my neurologist as well. I got scared because primary care and urgent care were telling me i could only see neurology for the issue but essentially I developed constant twitching and horrible leg pain/tightness in late March. Intermittent arm pains depending on usage as well. Had some twitching and pains mildly on and off since February maybe even January but nothing like this. It’s Mother’s Day and I should be focusing on being with my family but I’m struggling and have been crying all day.

It showed some mild carpal tunnel in my arm so I’m very scared about that I’m very very scared this is the start of ALS or something very bad because I see stories of people saying sometkmes the EMG was wrong and they ended up dying

Oxcarbazepine and walking/balance issues

Has anyone felt less coordinated on this med?? I’m nervous because I have other pain issues going on with my legs but I notice I really struggle on inclines, in sandals, or on surfaces that are not flat since starting this med. It’s been about a month now I think. It really helps so I don’t want to stop it

Difficulty wearing sandals

I have worn my sandals / slippers for years now and after developing my twitching + leg pain I am struggling to wear them. It feels like I am constantly fighting to keep them on my feet. Don’t know how to explain that. I did have a normal EMG and clinical exam but I am very concerned about this

4 days of constant arm twitching

My arm has been non stop twitching by my elbow for days now and I’m getting very stressed by this. My twitching was happening all over but randomly started to become more frequent in my arm and has seriously not stopped since. It feels like a squeezing. Has anyone had this happen where it was stuck in one spot?? In the beginning it was stuck in my calves but it slowed down, now it’s back 😑

Struggling to stay on an SSRI

I have developed severe anxiety and OCD and my doctors are recommending SSRIs to me at this point. I tried Prozac for 1 week had severe panic attacks for hours all day. Stopped. Tried Cymbalta for my pain + anxiety. Horrible reaction had to stop immediately. I just tried Zoloft yesterday and I’m afraid to take it again. The anxiety attacks after taking it are really scaring me. I’m struggling to cope with the nausea even with zofran.

Please send tips. I have already tried therapy but I’m having a crisis so I fear I am beyond help without meds

Elbow

My elbow/ right arm has started twitching really bad since yesterday. Seems to be worse today. My legs + feet are my normal place to twitch. I also have horrible pain/fatigue feeling all over. Just started Zoloft today As they think it’s stress but I have been stressed my whole life and never had this. My EMG and neuro visits were normal but I just can’t believe anyone that I’m not dying :/

If so, what do you do for it? This started for me in January but got way worse along with my pain a little over a month ago now and it just will not stop or calm down. I finally just got diagnosed with fibro when after a huge series of testing to rule out other things.

Idk what to do about it but it seriously drives me crazy and freaks me out. Any tips greatly appreciated. I’m not on anything yet besides oxcarbazepine which isn’t helping with the body pain really but is helping with my o the nerve pain.

New diagnosis here. Like a month ago I woke up with constant leg pain on both sides that has NEVER stopped. Is this a part of fibro? Is it normal for it to be LITERALLY constant?

I 28F have been twitching almost constantly with intense body pain but especially leg pain and tension since February, but mostly starting in March, following Flu A in early February. I will say I had started experiencing new chronic pain in December but it would come and go. This is constant leg pain and tension that I cannot get to go, at all. And it can be really severe.

I got an EMG last week but I still feel afraid that I have ALS. Despite being told I don’t by a good neuromuscular doctor. My neurologist that I see for my migraines also said he did not believe ALS. I had a perfect neurological exam. He said I had very mild carpal tunnel on the EMG and I’m overthinking this.

But I feel anxious, really that I will be one of the rare young people who has it despite good exams. I’m really struggling still. I just don’t understand how I can be so tense, have all these symptoms, etc, for no reason.
