Everlife 2 is coming to iOS + Android on September 9th!

Hey everyone! I’m the developer behind the original Everlife, which has been downloaded more than one million times. I’ve spent the past few years rebuilding and massively expanding it into Everlife 2.

It’s a choice-driven, generational life simulator with more than one million words of handwritten content. You can navigate school, careers, relationships, marriage, children, homes, pets, money, crime, fame, health, and plenty of unexpected situations.

Everlife 2 launches on iOS and Android on September 9th. I know many people here enjoy trying different life sims, so I wanted to share it with you. I’d love to hear what features you care about most in a life simulator!

Your next life is waiting: meet Everlife 2’s character creator

I finally put one of my favorite parts of Everlife 2 front and center: the character creator.

The avatar wall on the new website shows just a glimpse of the endless combinations you can create. Build someone deliberately or roll the dice, then shape their hometown, birthday, starting values, traits, conditions, family, and backstory.

Then the real story starts. Every decision becomes part of a family legacy that can continue across generations.

Everlife 2 launches September 9 on iOS and Android. It’ll be free to download, playable offline, and won’t require an account.

Testflight Review Trick

Everyone says that with TestFlight, if you keep the same version number and only increment the build number, only the first external build should need Beta App Review. After that, later builds under the same version are supposed to go straight out to external testers.

I tried this, but my new build was still sent to Apple for review.

I’m running a 200-person beta test and getting hundreds of bug reports daily. The issue is that Apple review is taking 2–3 days, so by the time a build gets approved, testers are still reporting bugs I’ve already fixed in newer builds.

Am I misunderstanding how this works? Does it only work in certain cases, or is there something specific I need to do? Should I nix the long patch notes in update notes?
