Update after a few days: It’s great.

So I’ve had power keys for a few days now and it’s great. Is it perfect, no but then it’s a first gen product so that’s to be expected. It’s far better than some of the negativity on here would have you believe.

You quickly get used to the weight balance when typing, the keys are great. The wobble doesn’t exist for me when typing, I’m using an 17 pro with a mag safe case. Using the arrow keys to move the cursor in text and scroll webpages is excellent. Copy and pasting text is easy. Sliding the keyboard shut after sending a message is oh so satisfying.

My only negative is the clicks shortcut implementation but thats not solely clicks fault. The keyboard is still great without it.

I’d recommend not paying too much attention to the negativity and (if you have one on order) wait for it to arrive to try it out.

Edit: Just found another good use case, admittedly it’s kind of niche but still useful. The easy Bluetooth switching lets me quickly switch to my work phone. My work has a CMMS(admin system for managing equipment) that is supposed to work on mobile but is so poorly designed that the on screen keyboard covers up options making the system unusable. However, it works perfectly with a Bluetooth keyboard. Definitely niche but pretty cool.

First Impressions

Keyboard is solid and well made. Wobble is non existent when typing with a 17 pro attached. You can make it wobble by holding the keyboard and phone and wiggling them but it’s unnoticeable when typing.

Only disappointment so far is that the clicks shortcuts implementation on iOS is super janky. I get that they are forced to use accessibility to access shortcuts but the whole implementation is buggy as hell with janky animations and weird highlighting on the screen. This mostly down to Apple but clicks are using it as a USP for their keyboards.

Delta works great, you can map all functions to any key. Brilliant for RPGs like Pokémon but will probably take some practice for games that require quick reactions and timing.
