does nc state have any kind of rentable audio recording equipment/studio?

i’m a grad student and also a not-really-professional acoustic guitarist and singer (mostly just hobby but i do play at bars and restaurants etc) looking to record one song to surprise my dad at my wedding this fall. i don’t need anything insanely pro, but want better quality than just a phone recording.

the university where i did my undergrad had some recording studios and equipment you could rent, wondering if we have something similar here?

can't rotate a selection just a little bit anymore, because all my rotations snap to 15 degrees?

i haven't used notability in a few months so i'm guessing it was something in a recent update, but all of a sudden i can't select my writing and rotate it just slightly - it automatically snaps the rotation to 15 degrees, or back to 0.

like a lot of people, i write just a tiny bit crooked, so in the years I've taken notes in this app I have always gone back and rotated my writing just a few degrees to align it with horizontal. now I can't do that at all. it's really frustrating - any suggestions as to how I can turn this off or avoid the snapping?

hi raleigh friends, i’m looking at potentially renting a home in this area (just north of Lake Johnson, off avent ferry) and was curious if this is a reasonably safe area? i know there are some not-so-great areas a mile or two down avent ferry from there, because I had a friend who had a kinda sketchy experience. but just wondering if anyone knows if this neighborhood/area is relatively safe :)

i’ve also heard mixed reviews on how safe Lake Johnson park has been recently - some people say it’s totally fine, some say it’s sketchy. for reference I’m a woman in my 20s.

i’m new-ish to the area and just haven’t had the chance to figure out which areas are nice to live in, and this would shorten my commute quite a bit so that’s a plus as long as it’s safe!

would love to hear people’s thoughts!
