Just wanted to ask maybe anyone can share if they have any insider info on the launch of Apple Pay for other banks? (Eherm… BPI please 😅)
We somehow know that it happens every Tuesday of the week. I was hoping that there were additional banks to be supported last week, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case.
Played around with Chinabank’s Ask CAI and would just like to share what it said regarding Apple Pay.
Responses are similar to Metrobank’s chatbot. But after asking a date about Apple Pay, it said that it is available today (July 31). I then asked for documentation but the chatbot was not able to provide one - perhaps this is restricted (as expected).
Fingers crossed that it gets released soon in PH! 😄

BDO recently released an update to their T&C on their Debit Cards which will take effect on August 17, 2026.
Could this mean Apple Pay/Google Pay would be available by August 17 for BDO?
