I basically got a safety flag for not knowing Spanish

Safety flag for not knowing Spanish. This is ridiculous.

I picked up a woman last week and the GPS messed up and I turned down a different road than she was used to taking. The GPS corrected itself and I tried to explain i knew where she was going and to not worry. She still freaked out so stopped and turned around instead of just taking the parallel road I had intended to take and went back to the other road.

Well i guess I now have a safety flag for taking a video call on the trip? WTF? I wasn't on any call let alone a video call. The only thing on my screen was the map and the only audio was Lyft's GPS Voice 🤦

Can't install ARC device in car.

Has anyone else had this issue? It's likd the device just won't install in the seat. I even tried taking the door off first. I can get the install icon to show up sometimes, but the game won't install it.

Tip hiding hurts customers

If i was a customer, I wouldn't be happy with Uber doing this.

This customer lived in a somewhat remote area and I actually contemplated not taking this as the 11.x miles for $18 was borderline not worth it to me given the 6.5 mile deadhead trip from the customer to my house. I was ~ 5 miles from my house (black Trans Am icon) when I got the offer and was about to give up and go home to eat leftover pizza. I decided to accept it because it looked like the mileage would just barely work to where i'd average ~ $1/mi including the deadhead trip.

Now here's what I don't get. Why hide $10 of the tip when $18 for 11 miles isn't that great of an offer given the fact there's zero restaurants in that area? I wonder how many people declined that. Fwiw, the base pay was only $2.

Would you drive 25 miles to deliver liquor for $40.75?

Technically $38.75 as there's a $2 toll. Whether you get a return delivery or ride remains to be seen but that's 10:15pm. It's also been storming. The fact there's a chance a return would be required concerns me as you'd likely lose the majority of the $40. I declined it.
