Is it a unique color in a sea of OPI reds? Nope, but it was the first OPI I ever owned, so it has a special place in my heart. My aunt took me to a salon to buy it (back when that was the only place to buy OPI!) and I felt extra fancy.
My only other OPI white whale was Vampire State Building, which I immediately snagged from Ulta because no way am I paying $50 for an original.
Used for one mani, $12 + $6 shipping, PayPal G+S only. May consider trading for another fine particle magnetic of any brand, preferably in the pink/purple or blue/teal color family.
It’s a little darker and moodier than I was expecting compared to some of the swatch photos, but I think it will grow on me. It responded reeeaallly well to my Perfect Glass Bead spinner.
Unfortunately top coat kind of dampened the effect because I was trying something new (see list below) that was really thin and caused some streaking. I’ve seen several people on this sub recommend thin top coats for mags, but I think thick ones work better for me. 🤷🏻♀️

This is my first time wearing Hydropower as a full mani, and it doesn’t seem as vivid as I was expecting. All the swatch photos I see look brighter? My bottle is part of the original release of the Electric Holos collection, so I’m wondering if it has faded.
I’ve tried looking at all the possible dupes, and I haven’t found one that’s close enough!
