used two coats and a top coat but probably could have gone without tbh! it was shiny all on its own. i think its from the 1950s but not sure the exact year this was released

I received a large auction lot today! I'm happy to share what I found but I'm going to need to divide it up a bit. It's going to take me a minute to type these up in the comments but you should be able to see all names in the meantime. This probably doubles my Revlon collection, with only a few doubles. I'm especially excited for the chromes and the shifty shades.

Once I sort this all out I do plan to do a sale post too.

These are some of the most exciting shades from the lot with the holos and chromes. I'm not sure I understand the quantity of shades produced in the chrome nail makeup line, many of them seem too similar to me. These are also my first Nail Prism bottles, they look cool!

I was talking with my coworkers the other day and told them of my past time in collecting vintage polishes. One of them brought me a bag of goodies!! All names will be from left to right

BonBon: this doesn’t have a name but it’s a purpley blue with a slight pink shift.
Old Navy: Sprout
Sally Hansen Star Opal Glaze: Violet Opal
Sally Hansen HD Nail Color: Resolution

KleanColor: Banger
Revlon Street Wear: Jaded

Third Photo are 2 brands I’ve not heard of:
Liquid Express: Grape Nut
Beauty Treats: oooops. Realized there wasn’t a name on this one. Looks to be a gray/green?

Fourth Photo:
Aziza Nail Polish: no label on any part of the bottle. A VERY bronze brown.

Fifth Photo:
OPI: looks to be an older black label? A shimmery purple with a slight pink or lavender shift.

Sixth photo:
I feel like I’ve seen this bottle before. It is a slightly darker bronze than the Aziza.

Now, I’ve not researched any of these as I just went through them and got SO excited when I saw them 😅😅

Another witchy Autumnal shade, Hard Candy in "Beetle"🍁 🍂 🎃 one of my absolute favorites ✨ in some angles, the gold matches that of the tops of these antique salt and pepper shakers I found at my grandparents' house. As a sidenote, how darling are these deer?? Absolutely precious.

Products used:

Base coat- 2 coats Forta By Nail Factory

Shade- 2 coats Hard Candy "Beetle"

Top Coat- 1 coat Salon Perfect topcoat

Many moons back - when I would get them professionally done- I had selected this color… multiple times. I adored it, but had the worst time finding it. I finally found it, but the polish is old and runny. Almost 24 hrs and they are still a bit “soft”, unsure how long I’ll leave them on.

Topped with Cracked Polish - Make it Pretty for a dash of sparkle

This was a limited edition shade from Revlon’s 2011 Spice it Up collection. I like these murky metallic shades for fall. This polish is a bit streaky but I swear, you can’t really tell that much in real life.

I'm still working on swatching my collection. The L'Oreal Movie Time Muave I've used about half c the bottle it's gotten so much love from me over the years. 😅

I cannot manage to get a color accurate photo of this one. It looks more pale purple in person or as the name implies, periwinkle. I also was impatient and applied after shaking the bottle so there are bubbles. Oops.

Here are all of the Maybelline from this massive lot. These all range in the more typical shades of pink, maybe, red, etc, but there are some very nice shimmers and bright colors. I think the Salon Expert bottles are technically vintage but I'm less excited about those. I love the pink and gold caps!

I have several of polishes from this line and while they are beautiful, I haaaate the brush and always struggle to not get it all over my cuticles😒

The bottles looked like this, this particular shade is called Decadence.

I’m looking for information on a different colour they had which was a sort of champagne shimmer/metallic with both tones of silver and gold in. We would have bought it from Superdrug (or possibly Boots) around 2000. We remember it being very sparkly and ethereal looking.

Grateful for any information anyone can share! From googling, I think Kolor was a Superdrug specific brand or that it later became Collection 2000? Bit confused by what I read about that second part and may be completely wrong as I thought Collection 2000 was around the same time. We also had a beautiful Khaki with gold shimmer from the same brand.
