First timer looking for Coach recommendations- Castro, SF

Hi all, I'm looking to book my first class at Castro sf and wanted recommendations for coaches who would be good for first timers. For context, I don't run and honestly dreading that part but thought it would be good to challenge myself. Which class should I take? And any advice? Thank you!

Anyone tried facials at the skin method in Marina?

Hi All! I have been looking to get a simple barrier-supporting facial and the skin method has been coming up on my IG. Google map reviews look good but would really appreciate if anyone can share their first hand experience? I have only gotten a facial once and didn't have the best experience🥲

Two classes in, does exercise set-up vary coach to coach?

I finished two starter50 classes across two different locations. In my first class, when we were doing obliques, the coach had us place our knees on the black side and arms on the carriage. In my second class, a different coach had us place our knees on the carriage and arms on the black side- tbh I felt this set up was much more effective for me. I wanted to understand if different coaches approach exercises and set-up differently?

Booked my first Starter50- Any advice?

Have been thinking of booking a starter class for a while and finally did it. I have a history of obesity and metabolic syndrome. I have reversed both with a lot of work. Given this history, most workout classes make me nervous about whether I'll be able to keep up with the intensity. While I mentally prep for the class, would appreciate any advice/suggestions!

- Should I do a light warm up before the class?
- Planning to wear non-grip socks- do I need grip ones?
- Will arrive early - will I need to share any background or workout history with the trainer?
- Any wise words would do at this moment!

Thank you!
