I think it's finally about time to broach the subject. Over the weeks I've had many, many comments, both in DM's and on the comics about wanting to support me financially.

For the entire time of making this comic I have always turned these offers down, the reason being is that I do not want to have this comic be tied to a source of income. As doing so would totally change the incentives behind making the comic. (I would be pressured to slow the pace down in order to extract the most monetary value over the long term, and to focus pages on being as metrics driven as possible. Which I do not want)

However. One immutable fact of life is we need money to live. I currently subsist on Carer's Allowance, since I am the full time carer for my mum, and earn a pretty trivial amount in tutoring. (I have done a whopping three hours of tutoring work in 3 months). So, I would like to propose this;

I have considered opening a Ko-Fi profile, which will have zero 'incentives' to donate anything. No tiers, no bonuses. Just a place where if you feel like dropping a few pennies into, you can. In turn, I will do everything in my power to ensure it does not influence how I create this comic. In an ideal world, I would continue doing this as I always have. I love making it, and I don't like the idea of taking money for it. Alas, the world is the way it is. I will not post the Ko-Fi link as of yet, I would like to know what you think first.

To all of you that read all my little rambling notes, and those who have been so incredibly supportive this whole time, I don't think I could say thank you enough <3

This page. This damn page. I had the PERFECT dialogue planned between Orion and Biscuit, and then when the time came to write it? Gone. Not just like... Partially forgotten. I mean completely, totally yeeted into the void GONE.

I spent probably a total of 7 hours staring at the last 5 panels trying to figure out what to put, and in the end I'm still not entirely happy, but hey. That's life!

Also. On a serious note. And it really pains me that I need to bring this up;

As I have said before, creating NSFW of my characters is a line I consider a step too far. However, I know full well that this is the internet, I cannot stop you if you want too.

If you ARE intending on doing it regardless of my requests. Have the good graces NOT to approach me in my DM's, tell me that you intend to spit all over my boundaries regarding the characters of my comic, say that you don't care when I ask you not too, and then offer a half baked apology while still telling me you're going ahead with it.

It would be very not cash money of you if you were to do that. And yes, it did indeed happen.

I actually finished this page last night, I just didn't have time to upload it. So, think fast, early morning upload!

I got my assignment back, and it was pass! So, now I'm on the last leg of my studying. I plan to make that more of a focus today, so please don't anticipate a double upload. (If I can make it happen I will, but that's a big, fat IF)

EDIT: Because I forgot to mention; I know Expie's can dig through stone and steel in-game. I imagine that's mostly for the sake of gameplay so you don't end up hopelessly trapped. However, with regards to the comic, I am waiving that ability, so their claws will be as strong, if not a little stronger than the average canine. Meaning that without tools, they're not breaking stone.

Dialogue heavy pages are a lot faster to make, who knew?

The second panel took about 90% of the time. I keep making the mistake of drawing Teddy first (Can you tell I have a favourite?) which then means all the others are proportionally tiny. The canvas is already kinda' small, so it makes drawing Orion REALLY fuckin' hard.
