Guess what; Cool stuff time! And boy is there much to cover-

So, first up, more progress from u/HampturArtz on their own comic, 'One Day At A Time'; https://www.reddit.com/r/casualtiesunknown/comments/1vsfmjp/viewer_discretion_advisedone_day_at_a_timechapter/ I for one am looking forwards to seeing where it goes, even if it appears that direction is downwards.

Next, from u/Ok-Cartographer-324 a person of whom Reddit seems to particularly hate, and whom our moderators work tirelessly to snatch back their comments from the jaws of auto-moderation, and extremely cool work of theirs; https://www.reddit.com/r/casualtiesunknown/comments/1vs3iu1/he_is_adorable_uwu/

We've also seen a flurry of work from u/FrogWithSWIT on their project; 'Death Saves', the art is great, and the story so far is pretty neat, I've not seen anyone dive in this concept with CU, myself. But no spoilers. Go read it!

And, finally, because I'm running out of characters, another update for u/RegularSara comic, 'The Beginning'; https://www.reddit.com/r/casualtiesunknown/comments/1vr2ers/the_beginning_part_3/ which is already managing to hurt me without directly doing anything horrid. Yet.

what do we think? for unchipped, it's a pretty easy choice I'd personally argue: the information you get with the display is extremely value since it acts as a de facto health panel. with the fact it uses lower power, it's the right choice for unchipped. I'm happy to hear if you feel different, though! you could definitely make the argument that the fact it's harder to diagnose yourself makes an automated system a lottt easier, but that's imho not a super strong argument but as for chipped, it's a bit harder to decide. it can personally and accurately determine the energy of the shock, and if you even need one. but a manual one can be faster if you know what you're doing, and if your int is high enough (it should be. use the crafting system, people!), it's more than accurate enough, even if you're off by like 20-30J. it also uses less power than the AED, so you can save on some battery life. what do you people think? I personally like both, but I'm a bit biased towards the manual defibrillator since I think the UI is super cool.

I personally headcanon dunes as having a very strong pack instinct. They enjoy sleeping next to one another for safety. When they are alone, they use a blanket not because they are cold, but because the heat reminds them of what it feels like to sleep with other dunes.

Impossible reunion.

After Baron Myles, people wanted to see Human Persei. So here they are! Sorry if the art looks worse than usual, I just wanted to do a few quick sketches.

Dr. Percy "Persei" Stevens. After earning their PHD, they sent out applications to prestigious and well known research institutions. Gunsaw Macrotech, noticing Percy's incredible intellect, offered them a job. Gunsaw wasn't what Percy was looking for, but they thought it would be stupid to pass up such a high paying job. At first, they were a research assistant at the experimental materials department. After a few months, they were promoted and transferred to the biomedical department. Where all the sawians were being held. Percy's mental health declined sharply after learning the truth about what their employers and peers were doing behind the scenes. SAW-08-00482 (Baron Myles) noticed Percy's distress, and kept them company. They've been friends ever since then, even though it breaks company policy.

The fate of an expie has been put in the hands of the C:U community, will it be tested or treated?
