Does any of you act dumb in front of your parents so they don't worry you about mobile problems or social media problems?🤔
reddit.comWhy do some parents neglect their responsibilities?
I have 4 little siblings, the 5,6,8,9. The 9yr old has autism with down syndrome and I really hate the fact that my parents are not willing to teach him how to do anything (mind you, his autism and down syndrome doesn't make him paralyzed, he can talk but not properly, we do understand it) . This kid can search videos on YouTube, tell his mom she has a call and even insults.
I hate the fact when he says he can't do something, they just tell me to do it for him instead of teaching him how to do it, he can't wipe his ahh properly because they didn't teach because he was "special"🤦🏾, he could brush his teeth but would act like he couldn't when his parents are around so they would tell me to do it for him.
It really annoys me how they(parents) always try to put their responsibilities on me instead of taking it themselves. I don't hate my brother because he has autism but I hate how they treat him like he can't do anything because he's "special ".
I wanna really move out so they can learn how to do things without me. I am tired of my parents telling me to control them when they're misbehaving even when my parents are around , yesterday the one who's 8 called me when they were lighting papers on fire in the kitchen and I was outside. Instead of her telling their mom who's in the next room, she called me instead. 🤦🏾
How annoying
Some of our parents would skip their responsibilities of showing their kids the right thing and then later expect their older child to do it for them.
I am tired of this
So it has been like 3yrs my parents (mom and stepfather) have been pushing me to get my driver's license, at first i used to go and do the test and prepare for the exams, I ended up failing two times and the price for every two chances is €200 and they pay for it .
They treat me like I should never fail in life and start to compare the people who passed the exams . I am tired of all this, I am tired of them paying for me because they think because of that they own me as a slave or something and I am tired of them ranting about how much money they wasted on me in the near future.
I want to do things on my own now, I am trying to find a job but I can't, I have been searching for months and yet no one has accepted me yet.
Does any of your African parents do this?
Some African parents would ask the dumbest question ever and expect an answer but when you ask the same dumb question, they crash out
reddit.comIs it only me me or does this happen to you guys?
Why is it that when African parents take their child from Africa to abroad, they start to treat them like slaves.
"Oh I brought you here to study" but will get angry when you have an internship that finishes late at night . "OH I brought you here to help me" but will get angry when you don't have time to study bcos you're helping them.
"When you go outside, tell me where and who you're going with " all of this just to tell you that you can't go. "When you're going out, let me know " that's also the same person who's gonna tell you to stay home when you tell them.
Isn't it concerning that some of our parents love to showcase us to the visitors like "so this is my son/daughter " . For me I get pissed when my mom does that.
reddit.comAcerqué a una chica que ne gustaba y cuando le dije "hola cómo te llamas " me dijó "tírate " 😭😭🥀
reddit.comI don't understand ts
Imagine running errands for your parents, helping stepfather bring in 10 packs of water to the house, clean the bathroom and mop the rooms on weekends, take your stepbrother who has autism to classes, take care of all 4 siblings until parents arrive home, hang clothes, and yet when you slip a bit or miss one thing, they tell you "you don't do anything in the house" "what do you even do in the house "
Some of our parents have the "do it for me" mentality but never "teach me so I can do this" am I right or wrong?
reddit.comIsn't it annoying that some or most of our parents will just skip their parent responsibility and force it onto their oldest son/daughter ?
reddit.comDoes any of your parents eat your food when you cook?
So I live with my stepfather and my mother but everytime I make a meal even porridge or whatever, they don't eat it , when I cook rice, they don't eat it but when they cook, my mom expects me to eat her meals. I don't understand why it's like this😕😕
I bet most of us have the parents who love to compare you with your friends and shame you🤣🤣
reddit.comToday, my mom crashed out because I didn't give her my powerbank
It was around 8 am in the morning and she woke me up, then she asked me if she could charge her headphones with my power bank, i told her I couldn't because when I charge my phone with any charger these days, it doesn't charge (it sometimes charges backwards also). So I can't give it to her (mind you, she had a charger)🤦🏾. Then after 3 minutes she started yapping and insulting me. Talking about some "what don't I give to you in the house " "how much is a power bank that you have to tell me this", "you should watch your mouth when talking to me", "I will throw all your camera gadgets away" . I am just praying I find a job so I can move out, I'm tired of ts bruh.
