No FFFF?

I see others get FFFF but every time I ask CS the question is avoided. Today I finally got an actual no.

Is it that Nicks just doesn’t want to do them anymore?

NBD from Whites

Excited about these. Natural CXL over Brown waxed flesh. Vibram lug half soles.

Next time I build a boot like this I’ll do all eyes and single row stitch tho. Still love em. They fit perfectly.

“Did you buy timbs?”

My wife knew what she was doing when she said it too as she laughed hard enough I thought we’d have to go back inside so she could goto the bathroom. Diabolical. 🥲

I had an envelope I mailed from Baltimore to PHX, bust open at a facility and looks like they tossed the film and scanned the return label that was inside with the loose film while the package continued on.

What’s weird is the package was marked damaged in Baltimore a few hours before it was delivered in Phoenix.

So not sure where the loss occurred and I have a hunch the contents (rolls of film) was tossed. I just don’t know where. 🤷‍♂️

Need some opinions on a build….

I had a burgundy/black pair from another maker that I ended up sending back, and they’re rebuilding something different for me. Pictured for reference of what I’m after.

At the same time, my Nicks change window just opened, and with the email tonight I want to use this order to get DS burgundy.

But now I’m debating switching the lower to Admiral Black instead.

Also considering adding a toe cap.

Curious what people think:

  1. Roughout vs Admiral Black for the lower? Will the thick WC leather compete too much with admiral in how they feel on my feet? My waxy commanders are quite supple and I can’t imagine them paired with a heavy stiff temper leather.

  2. Keep it clean or add a cap (single row / 4 row / medallion)?

  3. No cap and just add celastic? My only thing there is I hate the outline that sometimes shows. With RO I’d imagine even if it did show it would be too subtle to be annoying.
