I'm 22F sudanese medical student , I don't have previous experiences , to be honest before the conflict I didn't think about volunteering , but now I find that my country needs everyone of us.

My struggle does not lie in what I have done, but in the things I cannot do.

I watch my homeland crumble before my eyes every single day, and I feel shackled, unable to do any thing. Women, children, and the elderly are suffering and dying; it is a tragedy that breaks my heart over and over again. My society is falling apart, surrounded by conflicts and catastrophes every day.

​I am young, educated, passionate but stuck. My country gave me what it could, yet here I stand, unable to give anything back to it.

​Every day, I try to find ways to volunteer with the international organizations that come to help us, but I do not know how to join them, how to contribute, or how to build my homeland with my own hands. This weighs heavily on me, exhausting me time and time again.

​I do not know who might be able to help me here, but I simply needed to release some of this pressure by writing it down. So, any advice for local volunteers with no previous experiences ?
