All in, or expansion by expansion?

We're working our way through the game - almost finished up with the base 2e game itself and its DLC. I have the rest of the available expanaions hanging out on the shelf. I know with games like Arkham Horror LCG it's better to go expansion by expansion rather than all at once so you can learn new cards/etc, but does it really matter for Mansions? Does the app remix/pull from the expansions you own and use different monsters/tiles?Part of me wants to keep everything separate as we move forward but that feels like it takes up so much space. If it does remix the scenarios, I feel like there may be no reason to hold out.

Opinions?

Edit: thanks all! Now i have a project this weekend

"Big News II" and Mark Briscoe's theme "Reach for the Sky" - am I hearing things?

Its been nagging me for years, but I cannot find corroboration or evidence to prove it. It sounds to me like the theme for wrestler Mark Briscoe (as well as his brother) is more or less, the main riff of "Big News II." Whenever Briscoe comes out my brain immediately connects dots that aren't there. Ive looked a few times over the years and the only thing I can find is by prompting AI to look into it, but we all know how reliable AI is. Im nit saying its a copy or plagiarism, but damn does it aound similar to my untraied ear. Anyone more capable than I am able to look at the notes or something to see how crazy i am lol

First editon minis question

I lnow we have some STLs for the first editions investigators/monsters pinned. I'm more than happy to use them for my reconstruction of the first edition ccomponents, but I don't have reliable access to a 3d printer and i kind of hate the Hero Forge thiccness of the minis. For those of you that have done this, did you use a service, and if so, who did you use? I have the pipe dream that there is a site out there somewhere that has this as an option. I know there are Etsy stores but they have that thiccness to the minis they sell and Im hoping to find somewhere that has sculpts closer to the official minis so half of them dont like like they grew up injecting HGH lol.

Thanks!

Need help "reboxing" Tibor555 insert

I have the Tibor555 3D printed insert for the full game w/expansions. A friend printed this for me.

https://www.printables.com/model/182173-mansions-of-madness-all-expansion-insert/collections

This is my current layout. I think its fine but the empty spaces have me questioning it. That and i think i have extra trays but cant tell for sure(face down card box, divider box, investigators tray?)

Im getting lost looking at the screenshots and trying to pack in/organize the box. Some images some tokens are in different spots. Does anyone have this? Can you provide a diagram of what goes where? Currently im boxing just the base game, but it will hold the rest of the expansions as we get to them. Without spoilers, do the empty spaces in the trays still have have things that eventually to into them? Obviously I'll get more monsters for the bottom and once we start an expansion, which the bigger monsters will move to.

Also, wtf goes in the corner tray? Lmao

Im sure im missing something somewhere, but i cant find anything. Its also possible im blind or dumb lol

Thanks!

Anyone ever hear of Epoch: Supremacy?

11+ Years ago someone gave a bunch of these to a friend who, in the parking lot of a Herzing campus, offloaded some on me. All i know is the person who gave them to my friend was trying to find beta testers. They're all unopened, I have no instructions and I can find no footprint online. I'm more curious if anyone else has heard of/seen this, or if there were other versions. I'm pretty sure it was some dude's solo project and didnt end up going anywhere, but maybe it will lead to an interesting story lol.

Which bases look/work better?

Im finally basing my minis! Ran into a snag, though. Forgot some have pegs and some dont. Already glued some to the 3d printed bases(can prolly remove them), but thebpthers are kinda of tricky to balance. I wanna lean towards the 3d printed bases since they snap into the insert i had built. Not sure if its worth the extra work (looking at you riot and haunting horror). Whats your opinion between clear or 3d printed?

Questions before constructing a DIY set of tiles-

I'm attempting to build some tiles for a board and this is my first time. I already have the art printed on some decent paper, my next step is getting it onto chip board and cutting the right sizes. I've never done anything like this and I would never consider myself crafty in any way, so im looking for any advice/tips. I mean like, real beginner level tips, stuff that everyone "already knows" 🤣

I know I need 80pt/2mm chip board for what i want (about 100mm to match other tiles i have) but what is the best way to glue the paper to the chip board? Does it change the process in anyway if the tiles are double sided. Im sure its not just elmers glue and some heavy books lol

Should I cut first then paste and trim, or paste than cut?

Is a sliding rotocutter good enough to score the chip board and handful of times befote snapping it? I may have access to one and I dont trust myself to be stable enough with a metal ruler/box cutter.

Lastly, what is the best way to seal it once its cut so the paper doesnt peel off? Is the puzzle sealer good enough? Should I cut before I seal?

❤️
