The crew is getting a power ranger.(Long but worth it read)

Oda is cooking up something for the vinsmokes, and the Germa. I'm just trying to point out the ingredients I can spot and smell.

There I a lot of opposition about Sanji and his vinsmoke heritage. I've read people don't want him getting a raid suit for aesthetic reasons or to say any acceptance of the vinsmokes would make him morally compromised.

Sanji is hurt and has a low opinion of his family. What he's saying is said in universe from his perspective. You don't often think kindly about someone who has wronged you and will be more willing to accept the bad things people may say about them.

The world government as a whole is evil. They are the villains of the story. What we hear from characters is often a twisted representation of the truth. Thier in universe opinion on the matter, which is influenced by world government propaganda.

The celestial dragons and world government take a tribute from nations... Regardless if they can afford it. They would rather you pay and screw over classes within the population. Ie splitting the nation into two like sorbet or goa. They are not good people, and the system is there to extract things from their nations. So remember that as you read this theory.

https://preview.redd.it/hrao628tx9bh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4526face1f34c38d723d203687251909d9221186

Take a close look at Sanjis dark timeline comparison. There are several things to make note of. Age 40 good timeline he isn't picky, dark timeline at 40 hes saying the same thing. He doesn't care what he eats. But it shows that he's not like light Sanji who takes meticulous effort to craft meals. The light version picky means he will eat any dish. The dark version picky shows he no longer applys effort.

The 60yo light time line shows he found all blue. He achieved his goal and looks like an extension of his of his light self at 40. His dark self goes onto continue not caring. He's willing to pollute the very sea his light self would fish from. Again just him not caring or having any standards for himself.

The biggest detail of note is that he looks exactly like judge in his dark timeline. Oda isn't doing this to reuse it. He's doing it to show us that at any wrong turn, Sanji could have turned out like judge. If he hadn't met zeff who showed him kindness, his heart would have continued to be corrupted. That's the take away.

The Germa are important to world lore. They are a nation of science, and more often than not science goes hand in hand with progress.

This is where judges life takes a "where things went wrong" path.

https://preview.redd.it/iscduf3oz9bh1.png?width=1630&format=png&auto=webp&s=c77dfcb34461fd69a89cd74a60254a0e4af9f173

Look at the flashback for reference. He's just like a light version of who he is. He doesn't wear the mask, his demeanor is drawn with him. He's even wearing a tie like Sanji here. As the cover story progresses you see them fight because vegapunk is superior. That's about when vegapunk gets approached by the world government and judge slowly begins to walk the dark timeline.

https://preview.redd.it/dej7zdma0abh1.jpg?width=1436&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6989aea05ec112436985c7567859ecab6437e8b7

Judges dream is to reunite the north blue. Sanji and his brothers were always a means to accomplishing that dream.

Remember Sanjis mother sora was judges wife. Regardless of her decision, we can assume that she did in fact love judge. So you gotta wonder when they fell in love, was it before his dark timeline?

https://preview.redd.it/ncw2a2ru0abh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=00a0647046067a365d5ef47e9850239eade488d1

We don't really get much of sora. But she's clearly a kind woman with a good conscience. We are led to believe that she died as a reaction to whatever chemicals she ingested. But I'm willing to bet she died of love sickness. Imagine how she must have felt to witness the mat she loved drift into a dark timeline. That's like losing the love of her life. Which is a what oda usually has as a prerequisite for love sickness death. Candelle was also very ill then after marrying reuvan she healed. One could presume love sickness is catchable as well as curable.

https://preview.redd.it/0raty9bk1abh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=582f3eb1a5d69ef6fd9d654c4bf11f1fbc68d2a4

I don't know for sure if the sora referenced here is Sanjis Mom, but I don't think the choice to use the name is purely a coincidence or throwaway decision. The implication here would then be that Sanjis mom was a marine who left the navy. With the fact that judge managed to escape and they recruited vegapunk, it's possible the change of heart was caused by witnessing some world government hypocrisy.. ie recruiting the man to study the science they were seeming as dangerous.

Just a guess though.

https://preview.redd.it/fetkjls42abh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b5476a8c8c46b33c4557a48e40161139b185d978

The Germa once conquerored the north blue in the past. As the narrator tells us this, without context we are led to assume it's an evil act. But we must also take into consideration the distant past was likely like a lawless land. Conquering really all depends on context.

https://preview.redd.it/v2yt4hud2abh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9976db0dc7c87cc16080814fa1cd2f86320d2313

Here Sanji reacts in disgust to this painting. We are told that judge vanquished 4 kings in the north blue. As readers, without context and based on Sanjis reaction a main character we are led to believe this is all malice. That is Sanjis in universe opinion.

But like I said above, you gotta take context into account. Were these good kings? Were they abusing their nations to appease the celestial dragons? Did they even care about their subjects? A good or bad king all depends on context.

https://preview.redd.it/ulqcg8aw2abh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a66d22f4657f704bd1fe92be020674d66cc6eaf6

It's no coincidence oda tells us through another mouth that 4 nations are now seeing independence together from the world government. If what judge did was truly evil, he would have taken the nations for himself. And while we cannot definitively say that they are the same 4 nations in each panel. It's definitely not unlikely as oda is weaving a story together in layers.

These were in all likelihood 4 nations who were being subjected to cruelty and inhumanity. Making judges actions righteous and not evil.

https://preview.redd.it/quuyvq4k3abh1.jpg?width=1993&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6314e6ce6b80843d31bf89898e62881bfdbeb88e

Look at how Sanji immediately assumes the Germa science was going to make him evil. This point of oda writing this was to show us Sanjis opinions and assumptions about his own family.. the fact that Queen was the culprit all along and Sanji didn't lose any memory shows us it has no effect on his psychology or personality. Sora gave Sanji the chance and a conscience. Which also means his brothers can unlock empathy the same way he unlocks genetic modifications.

https://preview.redd.it/qv4nard14abh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=42e48125ddd3b3ae87ca5126f72659fa0bdaef47

Sanji making any kind of public attack wearing the suit will do exactly what judge wants. Everyone in the north blue knows who stealth black is. Thus any attack and rebellion against the world government will further unite nations who may be afraid.

Again without context of the Germa rule in the distant past, we don't actually know how nations would feel. But if they see someone from the Germa standing up to the world government, then they will feel like they can unite together in hope. Ie believe in the strawhat crew because of their history with germa. And Sanjis acting as a representative for both.

https://preview.redd.it/hk9j2q3j4abh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0fe03835d818bfade01f3a13eeeb7b3ad5061702

Many fans argue that Sanji doesn't need a suit or they don't want him to have one..just look at how much damage he took from one hit from Imu. Whether he needs it or not. He's already stated it canonically.

https://preview.redd.it/xr2xya6q4abh1.jpg?width=5576&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7bf24fddd92e413ac701dd5d72d57dec2dbc0f7a

Pride will get people killed.

As reiju is about to die, she's makes a clear statement, there is still good to be found in their bloodline. The implication being the vinsmokes were good in the past. Since judge is the vinsmoke, we know the reference isnt to soras good nature. Sanji is their chance at redemption.

https://preview.redd.it/6dwxgp785abh1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=332d86fdba41c0f8c044e6e6e8c61d3a32a8b366

Oda already told us through their mouths. A very tongue in cheek line. They are going to re-establish the hierarchy. Sanji is going to be the next Germa nation king.

https://preview.redd.it/28q4uwdf5abh1.png?width=690&format=png&auto=webp&s=b9dd972a0e6538a482ecf0ee09d67e1fbd25b3d9

The uncertainty referenced in the latest chapter is about his heritage. Of course he will get conquerors. But first he needs to establish his sense of self. Sanji is a vinsmoke. Judge is his father. He was always royality. But the qualities about a king are a strong sense of self and a will to follow it anywhere it leads. Not everyone can walk the path of a king. It's not literal. But I'm Sanjis case it is, as he knows hes a Prince.

https://preview.redd.it/oopseefg6abh1.png?width=2202&format=png&auto=webp&s=1b8f26c731c41c7af36e6eb5239e49a64470efc2

Sanji is one who witnessed vegapunk die. He's also the one(of two) who's father has a direct connection to vegapunk.

Everything oda does is meticulous. Hes like something knitting together a sweater. He's not going to leave a long string that leads no where. Every strang has its purpose.

Neo mads was shown to mourn vegapunk. And now the vegapunk clone is the exact age as when he left mads. Him rejoining them at the age they remembered him leaving is just going to fuel thier desire to surpass him.

They may pretend to hate vegapunk, but both went on to a dark timeline after losing his influence in their lives.

Lilith directly says they don't have the facility to extract him. Her original plan was to build one in elbaph. But now that the world government has declared war that's not exactly a viable option. It takes time and resources to build, something they don't have instant access to.

But neo mads would.

Sanji taking the vegapunk box to the Germa fits what he always does.. he goes on a side quest.thay ultimately benefits the main goals of the arc. Going there will get him a new raid suit. He cannot be so prideful. He needs all the help he can get. The line from gaban supports this. His uncertainty is about who he is and his family.

Sanji will be the child to accomplish judges Will. The dream of uniting the north blue. Who will support the "new world government" post one piece. Sanji will just end up having the Germa kingdom sit in all blue rather than take any territory.

Sanjis uncertainty.

https://preview.redd.it/d7igo748gzah1.png?width=2202&format=png&auto=webp&s=0bb0258559078ebe2f0c14126727d59d1ea52bbb

Gabans statement implies that his will is basically being muffled because he's unsure. We can be sure this statement is addressing something oda has already written.

https://preview.redd.it/a29wqkdggzah1.jpg?width=1993&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=da84fa207e228356c58a53768fb08d7a58c14790

https://preview.redd.it/z4vwnhdggzah1.jpg?width=1986&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f11c5627b9a245748e85f28c2a608080f9dfd65b

The last arc had Sanji being unsure of himself in the midsts of combat. He assumed that the sudden change to his body meant he was going to be emotionless. However this didn't even turn out to be the case. Although the raid suit awakened his dormant genetics, it did not change his personality.

If it did then the entire point of soras sacrifice would be in vain. She did what she did to give them a chance. Sanji was the only one who benefited. (However if Sanji can gain an exoskeleton later in life, then his brothers can gain empathy as well.

Everything that judge questioned Luffy about, was all the qualities that make Sanji a good king.

The vinsmokes and their role in the world is also an open plot line. We are told they are evil, but what we as readers need to remember is we are hearing these remarks from an in universe perspective. Before meeting jinbei or Kuma, they are both talked about like monsters or evil people. This is all world government propaganda, so we shouldn't take it like gospel.

Actions are what define people. While judge has gotten to the dark timeline, this doesn't mean he was always like that. There's a massive reason that Sanjis evil time line looks exactly like judge. Oda is basically telling us that something in judges life went wrong. He was never able to achieve his family's legacy of uniting the north blue.

In universe we are told that judge and the Germa vanquished 4 kings in the north blue. Sanjis reaction to the portrait shows us he thinks this was an evil act.

But given everything we see about nations who go along with the world government, we should know better.

The only line to support this is that 4 nations in the north blue were seeking independence from the world government. Those 4 nations are probably the nations of the 4 kings the Germa vanquished. Meaning they weren't attacking kings like cobra who care about their people. They were after kings like the evil king from Kumas country.

My point is we don't know the full story and neither does Sanji. While the Germa aren't perfect or saints. Thier back story in all likelihood is probably going to be an ally of joyboy or the ancient kingdom.

https://preview.redd.it/0hmlbykxizah1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d0f20fc6189fc04f147bca3a933b4ca99fa0b4b

Neo mads is another open plot line that will tie in with vegapunk. While both of them were showing hatred for vegapunk, they also seemed to mourn him when he died.

Lilith is reviving a real vegapunk clone that is as young as when he first left mads. Sanji was the character that oda choose to have vegapunk die in front of. While it wasn't Sanjis fault, he will feel responsible for him. Just like he felt responsible for kinemons rescue.

Sanji always gets an important side quest that ultimately helps the arcs goals. That's what oda does for him multiple times.

So his side quest for the next arc will be accompanying the vegapunk clone to neo mads. His uncertainty about who he is won't be resolved till he deals with his family trauma. By going to the Germa(to bring the fleet to the next arcs climax) he will get a neo mads raid suit 2.0.

https://preview.redd.it/bykfeyp4kzah1.jpg?width=5760&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e9ba5f2c09184e1350701aa63785a3364009384

If seen many readers hate this idea and take Sanjis opinion on his family like gospel. As though relying on Germa would be a sin.

After his fight with killingham he will have no choice but to accept the germas help.. his line in wano directly applies to everything going on. If fails to stop killingham(which he will), he will know that the raid suit would have helped.

Oda isn't going through all the trouble of writing stealth black to throw it away.

When they attack marijoa the next arc, the world will see stealth black defying the world government. As a germa and as a notorious crew member of an emperor.. this is the kind of hope that will unite other nations in the north blue who are already getting sick of the world governments shit. The whole story is going to end with a new world government and a new philosophy like Luffy and koby.

So it's some really irony for Sanji, the failure, to be the one son who actually accomplishes judges failed dream. That's poetry.

https://preview.redd.it/xnn96k74lzah1.jpg?width=5760&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4425d94871c6fa25717c804c10c58387c6ffc04e

The Sanji constitution was already brought up as a gag in egghead. So we can be certain Sanji is going to be the next Germa king.

TLDR: Sanji will get a new raid suit, take his rightful place as stealth black, and unlock conquerors as he becomes who he was always meant to be.

Captain johns treasure could require the magnet fruit to unlock

Captain johns treasure is an open plot point. Given his new connection to rocks, it will probably be important and more than just money.

It could contain road poneglyph copies.

Buggy has the "treasure marker" but he never found it. Implying the marker is just one piece that is used in conjunction with a map.

However I got to thinking. What if his treasure has some kind of lock on it like don chin jao.

We saw captain John had the magnet fruit. For some reason kidd, who now has the magnet fruit, does think buggy should be an emperor.

So I'm thinking the treasure itself could have some sort of magnetic lock. So even if you have the map and the marker, you would still need the user of the magnet fruit to open the chamber.

Kidd is going to join one of the emperors. Makes sense that it would be buggy.

2013 Passat TDI noise.

Automatic 57k miles. Purchased at 54k. Timing was done at 50k or so.

Dash notice says adblue something. It went away before I could take a picture. It seems to be louder on the left side. When I press the gas the noise is about the same.

Any idea what this is?

Franky's next weapon.

Franky has already gotten a hint of an upgrade in "vega cola". He's hardly gotten any screen time with vegapunk or Lilith to actually talk shop and share ideas.

He has also cannonly said he prefers the ability to swim.

https://preview.redd.it/26y2wxx6ao9h1.jpg?width=3924&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07db76d01d41bab064823df2b75c9be39542cec4

This was pretty much just used as a gag. Franky wielded a sword but had no skill in using it.

https://preview.redd.it/d361jyx6ao9h1.jpg?width=3888&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=111d91fb6857224fa36f5e5d21e87a653eab3ff8

In the end the sword ends up snapping. He did inflict one deep cut with an attack, but other than that the sword was just a gag part of the fight.

At first I was kinda thinking a new wapolmetal sword, along with some general Franky upgrades, would be pretty cool since wapol is likely coming to elbaph. But that doesn't solve the problem of having no skill to use it.

With how destructive shamrocks cerebus sword is, it got me thinking.

https://preview.redd.it/qzyuwkevao9h1.jpg?width=1587&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d7cd4a407cbe17a3fdbaa280b3dea932666d4ea2

Franky should get a splash of queen tech. He's his father after all. Queens trade mark phrase is FUNKY.

https://preview.redd.it/xvf2och4bo9h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b5c80b057693385c76b569d4381ac1bf15bb7432

Although there's no proof to suggest funkfreed could have been made by queen, I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility. It's FUNK FREED. queen was working with mads. In the current the cipher pol was negotiating for weapons.

All to say I don't think it's unlikely that this devil fruit tech could have came from queen or vegapunk.

In the hands of spandam, funkfreed is a complete waste. Look at the difference between how shamrock uses the cerebus sword and how spandam uses an elephant sword.

No comparison. Elephants are smarter than dogs and have a higher capacity for emotional intelligence. Funkfreed could be a complete powerhouse in the hands of anyone else willing to train with him.

https://preview.redd.it/4hwyjsu2co9h1.png?width=1234&format=png&auto=webp&s=3c4d1ba43c59fedf7ce178a628a20f54592cee07

Spandam has also still been shown in the background. Looking for sabo or vivi. If the story is heading to marijoa then they have the possibility to cross paths with spandam again.

https://preview.redd.it/bsdphn69co9h1.jpg?width=1933&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f05dbea38f413c553c20f5de58cbcadd5111b4ad

Franky already tamed funkfreed. If they crossed paths, he could easily steal him. The only really factor here is if funkfreed has any loyalty to spandam.

This could be an upgrade that synergizes well with Franky's battle style. He's always been a weapons user. He would basically be what Zeus is to nami.

TLDR: I want Franky to get a devil fruit weapon.

I have one wish for the final saga of one piece.

It occurred to me oda has yet to introduce any "Ursa Ursa" model Zoans. He's basically side lined two species that each have individual traits making them dangerous as a Zoan.

Elephants are incredibly strong and intelligent. Jack was a beast who took many characters to take him down, but most of his actual combat skills were off screened. And the other elephant was submissive and in the hands of a coward. If someone like Franky had funkfreed, he could probably be trained to be even more useful then the cerebus sword. Since elephants are smarter than dogs.

Bears are also incredibly powerful, but we haven't seen a single type.

So my one wish is that oda introduces someone with a Ursa Ursa model Panda and makes it the most silliest clumsy powerhouse. Given odas love for pandaman, I hope someone in the end game has a panda fruit. Villian or ally I don't care. I just want some silly panda gags.

These two pages are related. This flashback is a massive setup for next arc motivations.

https://preview.redd.it/xfl7uyrv5a7h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5f0952195e3206848930a79fd3b34d46dc8ff561

In fact it was easy to speculate toroa was Brooks home country after seeing this.

  • West blue
  • Ruffled fancy man shirt
  • Could play any instrument.

These 3 things led to make the connection on a reread. I shared it on the one piece discord only to be told oda just likes reusing designs and this doesn't mean anything. However:

  • Everyone from the rumbar pirates was a musician. Brook himself capable to playing any instrument.
  • Brook implied the whole crew was from the same homeland in the west blue.
  • The same shirt design as brook.

All of these things made it click in my head "it must be Brooks home country". While brooks country is now confirmed to be esperia, it's very much looking like toroa is the same kingdom.

It's just under a new pro world government monarch that doesn't mind giving its people to slavery.

This is once again giving us a reason to go to marijoa next. There could be people brook knows besides shuri that are captive there.

Not to mention the whole backstory is connecting shuri to brook. I really doubt the storys gonna go okay now we just go to one piece and forget about shuri. Or any variation of that type of thought process.

This is an important motivation for brook. His debt to reuvan, candell are more important that his pirating career. He cannot just go on to laughtale and forget about shuri.

This page in the flashback reenforces that. He would do anything for her, including giving his own life.

Everything that keeps happening in the story keeps coming back to marijoa.

  • Post wano, they were ready to invade and assimilate the country just like esperia.
  • Egghead introduces the 5 elders and establishs a piece of the mother flame is at marijoa.
  • Elbaph gets a direct declaration of war from the world government. And it's looking like the kids are going to be kidnapped.
  • Shuri being a good person establishs they need to save her somehow and undo the covenant mark on her. *Cough morias shadow ability cough*
  • The final end game villian being introduced and fully revealed.

All of this just adds weight to marijoa being next.

https://preview.redd.it/fdft3qp5ea7h1.jpg?width=1419&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea49dbaeca67bac6eda1152fff0faba076f7f6d3

https://preview.redd.it/q24ywpp5ea7h1.jpg?width=1392&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=666a6b2bb8a4d2d33e9e6500f333a332381a02d1

The captain and the officers of the crew all expressed no problem going to Marijoa(aside from Zoro who's issue was just they don't know she's there).

They will be going to marijoa next to save luffy, the giant children, and shuri.

Just think about it logically. In the one piece world the people who control the road poneglyphs are massively influential. Kaido, big mom, and zushina all held one.

Why wouldn't Imu? We know that burn scar was known to have it. We don't know what he would do with it. But we most certainly know the world government would give anything to secure one.

https://preview.redd.it/9cjmltihfa7h1.jpg?width=1932&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b41f92c86f59890bec4ef944aabdd67e22cffede

Look at laws reaction. Head titled down. Full frown. Darkness around eyes to obscure them. This is a look of shame.

There's a plausible theory floating around that law is actually a member of SWORD. Both law and koby were at pirate island. We have seen how the government conducts deals in the dark. So what if the world government used SWORD as a means of handling a deal for the road poneglyph.

Such a situation could explain laws look. If he's begining to see the darkness of the world government, then he would know giving them a road poneglyph was a mistake. Anyway just a theory.

Regardless of theory, I still stand by the thought that the most powerful villian(presumably) in the series should have a road poneglyph.

https://preview.redd.it/z2rq2ienga7h1.jpg?width=718&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35a960ef61dd07b75553894198ab71cbcb8c434a

Oda had shiryu speculate on this in universe. While I don't think burn scar is a government man, I do think he's living at Marijoa. And like shiryu says, having Imu hold on to one would ensure that no pirate can get there again.

With everything going on between shuri and brook, I know 100% now that we aren't going to laughtale or lodestar next. Everything just keeps connecting back to marijoa.

And now Luffy is about to fight the most powerful villian in the series.

Don't be naive, he's going to be kidnapped and the story will be better for it.

If you believe "Luffy won't be kidnapped" "main character isn't leaving the story" "he's an emperor he won't lose" or really any variation of those kinds of defenses. I would like to show you other wise.

It's already happened.

Multiple times

Again

https://preview.redd.it/hkdk37fnja7h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5a8525e82e518436e1fe44c94b812891b1e6a0a6

And again

And again.

It's just as much of a pattern them as the country in ruin and Luffy saving royality. It's what oda likes to do.

https://preview.redd.it/0rj38s16ka7h1.jpg?width=4888&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6ee84e2d29bf6cb37d88cedc0a871f62bcb9e75c

I've said it time and time again. Imu is the one who's going to make a flashy finish. Why would things get intense? Because Imu and the gods knights are going to succeed.

Why would Imu not just kill Luffy?

Because he's got history with joyboy. Duh.

https://preview.redd.it/35i8no0pka7h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f5e6894f0cd9104f1b6f5a8de7856bdef184b69

The story is on the final saga. Look at who's front and center when Luffy makes this statement. Hajrudin. Who's country is now in ruins? Hajrudin.

The world government just declared war on the nation of elbaph. This is a country that belongs to Luffys friends. Even if Imu has some kind of time limit and escapes without kidnapping Luffy. Do you really think they would just forget this happened and continue along with thier journey?

https://preview.redd.it/r6m0pd1kla7h1.jpg?width=1945&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0dc6e9b31c4518ce144ffc455d6aeb04b07f7ff8

The strawhat Crew did this for usopp. You really don't think they would do the same for one of their friends? Not to mention a follower. Think about it from an emperor perspective. The world government attacked elbaph which is basically a strawhat affiliated nation. What would the world think of Luffy if he just didn't attack them back? They would say something like "no one is foolish enough to attack the world government" or something along those lines implying they are too dangerous to rebel against

https://preview.redd.it/eefvjh9xla7h1.jpg?width=1057&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e207c645726ca69bffdaa68f4b9747383429b160

There just isn't a lot of time for this to happen. And with everything happening, I'm positive it will be the focus of the next arc.

TLDR; please don't share your opinion if you didn't even bother to fully read the post. Marijoa is the next arc.

The other factions will also make their pre laughtale moves

  1. Blackbeard crew- invading fishman island to kidnap shirahoshi.
  2. Red hair crew- tailing blackbeard to fishman island and protect shirahoshi and subsequently teaching her to master her powers.
  3. Cross guild- invading impeldown to free weevil(along with others) in exchange for the map to captain johns treasure. Which will contain the 4 road poneglyphs that the rocks crew managed to get ahold of.
  4. Sabo- acting as an independent faction to rescue Luffy from marijoa.
  5. Revolutionary army- background world stuff investigating what vegapunk said.
  6. Vivi joining the crew right at the end of Imus invasion. This gives them an insight into marijoa as well as a way for her to make contact with sabo.

"omg it's nepo piece"

https://preview.redd.it/nrsf2bsk9t6h1.png?width=687&format=png&auto=webp&s=57cba66957aa91c42e2a3627cecb83cc7113e4de

It's break week and we literally have only design hints to speculate from.

  • His cap has a sort of pointed brim.
  • He's a smoker.
  • He's observing the situation indicating he is on the world government side.
  • He may be connected to the fog.
  • Square jaw and thick lip design.

Now go and compare it.

https://preview.redd.it/dh1vdjadat6h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=47b8bed31430360834eb57137d8e0cbf116cea66

  • First Introduced smoking.
  • Has a square jaw design.
  • Wears a sort of pointed cap design.
  • Same kind of thicker lips.

We have no idea why his title is of the rain. He's not a fruit user here. He's not associated with water. And his attacks have no weather association.

The only possible connection I can imagine is if the above mystery character has the same fruit as zaza. Hence why the fog appeared and decayed all the instruments. If he's controlling the fog, he could be using zazas same fruit. And if shiryu is related to him, it could be why he's "of the rain"

https://preview.redd.it/mz2qhp41bt6h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=db6fd56ab9ebefa9536426c0e34bcec37383b98d

The post time skip design he resembles the mystery character a little more. Both are wearing tassel cloaks. I know it's not uncommon, but they just share too many similarities.

I can't fathom where oda is going with all this. But the two characters clearly resemble each other. And I don't believe in the "oda just likes to reuse designs" explain away tactic. Oda is cooking up something.

There's a 70 year difference between this flashback and the current. So shiryu would have to be the mans grandson or such other 2 generations apart. If not 3.

I need help with source recommendations for vr6.

I'm not familiar with what brands are good. So far I'm looking at urotuning, ecs, and FCP euro.

I need a timing chain kit, an oil pump, and a water pump. As well as whatever seals I would need. All I really need is the knowledge. What kits are best from which sites. What brands are acceptable and what should be OEM.

Can anyone help me? 2004 GTI vr6.

Sanji will get a side arc at the end of elbaph.

The side arc will be taking vegapunk to neo mads.

https://preview.redd.it/06porcu1g75h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=affe3611abb219edf90d20a3dc8b5c142b3c3f06

Cover stories are always important. They are the seeds for odas long term plot lines.

Regardless of your moral opinions on these two characters, they are among the brightest minds in the one piece universe.

https://preview.redd.it/161pmnpdg75h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d5367082581361e0e615ae2749c396d6e270d84f

Despite Lilith saying she's going to build a factory on Elbaph, I don't think that will happen. Elbaph is no longer going to be the safest place for a Lab. The best place for stella to go is neo mads.

Just think about it. Sanji was the one that let vegapunk die(I know he was told to), he will feel a moral obligation to help the stella.

https://preview.redd.it/bnf34yttg75h1.jpg?width=1416&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e4325a84d640979ccbbb181bb0575944b685ec07

The end of WCI has judge earning some respect for Sanji. Despite what he says to Luffy later, Sanji is by far the most powerful germa.

https://preview.redd.it/ux7zaon2h75h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6694bcea27c51322d5e7c4da96f13c6f2bb624f3

https://preview.redd.it/byu7tzn2h75h1.jpg?width=1434&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1ddf9530602fdf0a7b8aa8bab8097e9a2fd92726

Oda puts a focus on Sanji taking far more damage than Zoro does. Despite his Germa genetics activating, he was still heavily injured.

https://preview.redd.it/4wznhbqah75h1.jpg?width=5708&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ac142622eecaf5c8e8c950dff11fbd7358da0fa5

He has already said it. If he's stubborn, he won't be able to save lives. His interaction with Imu and the gods knights will likely reinforce this idea.

C'mon just think about it with common sense. Oda isn't introducing a specific suit associated with Sanji just to brush it off to the side.

The raid suit 2.0 will be Sanjis next upgrade. He will take the stella to neo mads and get a new suit. As well as the Germa as backup for the upcoming arc. He always gets a side mission. It's what oda rinses and repeats for him.

I think these two panels are related in concept.

https://preview.redd.it/j70121716i4h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5df3da2ccb3b3b305c6ff9141f2aa072b8f16629

Could it be allowing the "devil" to take over is what's doing harm to his body? Choppers monster point is his devil fruit personality taking over originally. Since he has learned to use the form himself it no longer drains his life force.

So what if that's what's causing the damage to Imu. Just like Luffy strained from using g3/g2, using his powers to travel half way across the world must have some cost.

If the Nika fruit is based on a god, how can we be certain Imus ability isn't based on a devil?

The title of the chapter should clue us in that God and devil are the same concepts.

https://preview.redd.it/hjua5777452h1.jpg?width=4312&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8ac26e8521f64685488c2ebc52b3a7797420a07f

I think my speculation here is more than fair. How can we be so sure that Imus ability isn't also a mythical model of someone from the first world? Someone so powerful and so malicious, people did not consider him a God, but a devil.

He has wings and he's able to manipulate black flames. I'm looking at every possibility here. The more reasonable guesses that are put out there, the more likely one will be right.

So far id been heavily leaning towards a mythical devil amalgamation. But now I'm considering he may just be another mythical human based on someone who existed. For example, his wings and dark flames could be be a hint he was lunarian. The other abilities could be some devil fruit.

The mythical model Imu has could be based on a lunarian with a devil fruit from the first world. Someone actively considered a devil for how they used their powers.

https://preview.redd.it/e75i7p1m752h1.jpg?width=3680&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99777bf6e357a6924d4367b18eff3bce5187de05

The official translation just says the devil's fruit. The majority want this to be that he has the original devil fruit or something along those lines. However oda has never officially named a devil fruit this way.

Just use the source material as a reference and you can see it.

https://preview.redd.it/ymsjzvqga52h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=59ab9eb2d34a6c009d1ffbab66298c3ead01c03a

All of these are how oda officially introduces a devil fruit.

https://preview.redd.it/0kkttvaka52h1.jpg?width=4264&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cd0ae45519f65197b5c19e721ee39c111325d9b9

Or like that. The shadow fruit is also coincidentally one of the few exceptions to the naming rule. The Japanese translation calls him a "ruler of shadows". Where as the English translation refers to him as a "shadow Master". It doesn't call him a shadow human. Probably because he doesn't produce or become shadows. He controls and rules over them.

https://preview.redd.it/d5suqocza52h1.jpg?width=3404&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9431924955b857d986efaa0b54f4821d9549ede7

This furthers my point that devil is just a title. There was a pirate calling him self devil dias. I don't think it's a coincidence his crew is named the akumate pirates. If there is myth of a devil in the one piece world. Then there could be people like this who idolize the myth. Just like people idolize the Nika mythos.

https://preview.redd.it/jm4flrabb52h1.jpg?width=1938&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=48a6408ce0af651e6265ca3c3b4ff2d996039e17

I remember posting this right after the summoning on egghead and said there was some kind of connection here. The fan base basically unanimously agreed this has nothing to do with the one on egghead. The symbols aren't even the same they said. There's no reason to believe that they said. It has nothing to do with Imu they said.

I don't know how it connects. But I'm certain it does. Even if in a roundabout way.

Gods are just titles. It is something earned.

Do you guys really believe there will be a hito hito no mi mythical type model zaza?

I keep seeing this over and over. And the assumption added on top is because zaza is depicted as a female, then her fruit must be female and must have a female user.

I just couldn't disagree more.

Nika was the sun god. His fruit is just Nika. So for all we know, any mythical type human fruit could be based on the legend of a god. Nika is introduced to us as both a legend(an account of someone's actual existence) and a myth(a sacred story passed down)

https://preview.redd.it/8fxrq5rcdr0h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dca7adbf31c7fc340dea3ff0b67556e5f0ccef37

Both of these fruits have the potential to be based on a "god". I also find it interesting both a monk and a Buddha seem to turn the user giant. Onimaru is a small fox, so how big would a full grown adult become in that form?

https://preview.redd.it/5ki3jrrrdr0h1.jpg?width=1430&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=47d8d34e6f168e3af86e1a035b4458d4cf1a5f7b

It's stated multiple times. God is just a title.

https://preview.redd.it/a9p06rrrdr0h1.jpg?width=1912&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=732167c5e36b0af6b179fe260c500da50f1f7a53

Enel thought himself to be god because lightning is nearly invincible. People accepted him as god because his power was overwhelming.

https://preview.redd.it/wfpyorrrdr0h1.jpg?width=1975&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4c090dcbd6e64bdee0755cda5b150d5e26d1f400

Imus statement furthers my point. God devil, what's the difference. Ie they are both just titles. The same way usopp has earned the title of God and Robin was branded with the title of devil child.

https://preview.redd.it/r92utjsrdr0h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e8fa0f095b2bc026c828de8011700c81b936fc23

We have direct proof with usopp.

https://preview.redd.it/4s24nrrrdr0h1.jpg?width=1916&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d506bd7fe0fc5a9b98799d31326b75750366ea2

They call him a god because they feel what he did was divine. To them, he is a god. If people continually passed down the legend of usopp, in 3000 years there might be a devil fruit based on him. If enough people desired his return, his existence could be brought back into a fruit. (Just a hypothesis based on what we know about devil fruits).

https://preview.redd.it/rc9xgfimer0h1.jpg?width=1362&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2afe40a77bc51777b5d1bb7dabdfa1e462aa5dbf

Zazas body is completely made of water. 70% of the earth is water. A water logia would be just as dangerous is whitebeards earthquake fruit.

Her body has the liquid composition. It looks like logia.

Don't blindly dismiss any idea just because you have your mind set on a zaza fruit.

https://preview.redd.it/3wxngz1ofr0h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a4296553098d1beb474611b9d5b3f49552a17d14

We have other examples of a logia user doing a transformation with their element.

https://preview.redd.it/rqdmhuztfr0h1.jpg?width=1432&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1fcd5d4c4533bce34394af4fb1f14dd13bd6bb5b

Just because nightmare zaza is shown in a water form, doesn't mean there's gonna be a Zoan based on her. She could have just been a water logia user from the first or second world who's legend is still being spread.

https://preview.redd.it/3xlks11ugr0h1.jpg?width=5760&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=965a577dcc41f4da2e87666d03389880f599b81d

Killingham brings up the rain god in the same line as the D and Nika. From who's who we know that Nika did exist in the ancient world. So there's no reason to assume the rain god is a myth here. He's talking about a legend.

Zaza could be a water logia. She could be the human fruit given the water. She could be some paramecia. The safest conclusion is she was a powerful devil fruit user who's legend still exist in the modern day.

Since shes mentioned in skypeia, at the very least we can assume she dates back more than 400 years.

If there is gonna be a water logia, it would make sense that oda was saving it for the end of the story. It's that overpowered in terms of how it could be used. Manipulation of water is essentially capable of manipulating the weather.

I've bandwagoned behind a lot of dragon possibilities. Mexican dragon. Cloud paramecia. Etc.

Final bet: dragon and the rain god zaza just have the same fruit. The mizu mizu no mi. Water water fruit.

A water user would be able to control the water in the air and clouds. Create rain wind and lightning by manipulating the water molecules inside clouds and the environment.

That's also really the only explanation that I see for how zaza could have a liquid body. Everyone has always considered there being a water logia, many have just assumed it would be too broken to exist.

I think the earth god was elbaph.

My reasoning here is ancient giant lore is clearly important to the story. However they don't really exist anymore. Given the giants lifespans and the fact that ancient giant blood is rare for them, we can assume they began to go extinct or meld with non horned giants at some point.

The way it says traces of their blood implies they melded with other giants thus diluting their attributes.

The nation of elbaph is named after a god of war.

Here it's said that the ancient giants are a reminded of their era of war. To be this suggest their \"god of war\" \"elbaph\" was an ancient giant. He had to have existed a long time ago.

https://preview.redd.it/bw9vcx7xsd0h1.jpg?width=3560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=94a26932bf5a9a5faf07ed01201d6117333be4b2

Shamrock also says that the warriors of elbaph conquerored the new world long long ago. Given their sheer size, long life span, and power by birth, I think they are a prime contender for the earth god. Just like enel declared himself a god, a giant capable of bringing destruction anywhere he would go is equally in a position to be declared god.

So I think an ancient giant named Elbaph was the earth god. Ancient giants enslaving humans could be the explanation for how oni/buccaneer came into existence.

https://preview.redd.it/xucvt09otd0h1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff3909d48e9434c6c002cc83df139de6797682a1

With that as a base, I think the forest god was the real giant Buddha. The demons that were tamed could have been the ancient giant tribes. This could be why there's only traces of ancient giant blood in elbaph.

If the hito hito no mi mythological type mode:daibutsu is based on the forest God. It could have been a non horned giant who taught them to get along.

Buddha reached enlightenment under a tree in a forest. This could be how the name forest god will play in.

The ancient giants are a reminder of their era of war. Being taught peace by a giant from a different tribe could explain the change in their beliefs and the dilution of ancient giant blood. This would have had to happen a long time ago.

https://preview.redd.it/q1ou8ytovd0h1.jpg?width=2376&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=533ee8cecd21318359b9ac6a10d3915b58cb6976

I don't have any ideas for how this plays in. But the Stone slab looks like it has an ancient giant head. I really think they are gonna have more of a place in the first and second world lore.

History became legend. Legend became myth.

Legend.

Myth.

Legend

Myth

I've long since held the opinion Nika was real at one point. Not a devil fruit, but an actual entity/being/person.

Most of the comments dismissed this with one simple rationale. "It's a myth". Thus ending all discussions.

However the legend of Nika is real. It's even specified as "long distant past". The Nika silhouette we see from who's who has no awakening ribbon. And design is very similar to tribal style clothing.

There's more than enough to deduce that the Nika who's who is talking about was from the first world.

https://preview.redd.it/2k8v99bunyzg1.jpg?width=3404&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=df7f930348620695269ad7374cb82892be219fc0

The sun got appeared to slaves. This is clearly talking about the Nika from who's who's legend.

So I will quadruple down. The original Nika was the human fruit given to fire. Her death created the mythical fruit Nika.

Ratatoskr was a companion. In dieing it became a mythical devil fruit.

Usopps final ephitet.

Will be "Hero of Elbaph".

The kids are once again in danger of being kidnapped. I don't think oda is trying to blueball us. It wouldn't really make sense to have them get caught again and then freed once again.

The stakes are going up for Luffy and the kids to be kidnapped. Forcing the crew to react and reach for levels they only have Luffy as motivation for.

Usopp will gain his ephitet by leading the rescue operation. Being the hero to the country he idolizes most just fits for him.

He's got a statue on sky island because he lied about defeating enel.

He got a statue on dressrosa because he saved the tontotta.

Seems pretty on brand for him to save the children and earn himself the whole countries respect.

This panel outright says it. But because it's talking about the nidhogg, people say it only applies to the nidhogg.

That just isn't true.

We already know from wano that devil fruit sizes scale with the maturity of the user. Momo was a baby dragon since he was only 8 and his size increased after being aged.

https://preview.redd.it/hchk2nlwf5zg1.jpg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=34f48f85165d03893e0347fe698b03c863350f7f

Yamato was also shown in an sbs as a child with her fox. Which disproves the notion that only happens to momo because his fruit was artificial.

https://preview.redd.it/vcpe64n0g5zg1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b508f8d91252ef46c7389563fe26018e7c754c32

Then we have the bug fruits. Conveniently eaten by the tontotta. Who as we know are dwarves. Thier full Zoan forms top out at their size.

https://preview.redd.it/hn43bjvqg5zg1.jpg?width=1441&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c76eb97c8d4829457808d2d1a6539683f9d7d01

Although black maria isn't an insect, she's still a spider. Which is basically the same size at a bug. Her fruit however scales with her size. And since she's already as big as kaido, her spider form becomes massive.

All of this confirms what jarul told us. Zoans scale with the size of the user.

All of this creates one very interesting question.

https://preview.redd.it/3gnc1znuh5zg1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1c81b11a276e978edc7fbb90be8d45ff7bd40ecb

How big would ancient Giant become with sengoku's devil fruit?.

The fruit turns sengoku into a giant. So if an ancient giant ate it, the fruits form would also scale with his size. Making him 10x his original size.

This is where oda names the fruit. I know daibutsus are just giant Buddha statues. Which is clearly where oda took the gold color from. However within the world of one piece the classification for the fruit is still human and a mythical type.

From this we can deduce that there was a mythos of a giant Buddha just like there is a mythos of Nika. And that budda was human. From it turning sengoku giant and it's name translating to giant Buddha, we can speculate.

There could have been a giant who amounted to a real world Buddha. Someone preaching peace and adhering to a nomadic lifestyle.

We already know there exist a different nation of giants who consider themselves more civilized than elbaph. The two people we have seen from there are saul and hajrudins mom. They were both educated and trying to get along with humans.

The giant Buddha could have some connection to giant culture. Just saying.

By that I mean the utilization by wapol is intentionally stunted. To me it wasn't a fight like Lucci or doffy where they were going all out. Wapol got bested by Luffy because he underestimated him.

The powers of the munch fruit are incredibly underestimated.

People dismiss this as not actually a fusion because of what Sanji said. But their voice and the typing style of it changes. The voice actor in the anime changes. It's clearly meant to be a fusion of both of them.

Even after being knocked out the body remains as one. This proves wapols fruit is capable of eating living beings. We don't know the limitations of it. If he can combine them with himself or he can only combine people.

We don't know if he could combine other people with things he's eaten. For example, could wapol have put cannons into a person?

This fusion just seems like oda intentionally hinting at wapols abilities while giving the fans a out to completely dismiss and overlook his potential.

With what's going on in the story now, it's clear oda always had plans for wapol. He got a cover story that didn't become relevant for a decade. Even know the lore of that cover story led us to him being with Vivi again. It's really oda weaving together a story and putting details on the back burner.

This is another crazy ability that was made completely ineffective because of a gag. Nami stole the key and he couldn't use one of his powerful forms. He would have basically become a more limited version of the arms fruit weapon human. And everyone knows exactly how deadly baby 5s fruit can be.

https://preview.redd.it/8xigt12wz4zg1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5376ffcfa256b4c24c5dca7d57ae6eb8dfdf7a36

He easily beat dalton. Look at that form. Tank lower body. Metal arms. Cannons on his head and arms. And that's just one utilization.
Oda is cooking for wapol.

He could even survive his head being cut off. Albeit not by himself as his abilities seem to be incapable of reconnecting himself to his body. But once reattached he easily healed himself. Proving the ability has limits but it still makes him incredibly deadly.

Now he's presumably heading to elbaph. Vivi wouldn't go anywhere else(she's going to luffy), and he's with Vivi. If he uses his abilities to help instead of being a nuisance, then he would have all sorts of crazy vegapunk weapons to incorporate into his body. It seems like the limit is he can only use anything he eats until it's digested. Because if he has it permanently then Luffy wouldn't have been an issue.

Wapol is just on his dark timeline. The previous king of drum island was peaceful and had ideals. Like king riku and King Cobra.

https://preview.redd.it/f2p1othv05zg1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eaa158a116aa0e7b0975c2c6c290a199cb301811

Look at all the dark timeline personalities. They are all basically evil or just bad people in general.

When you combine that with the fact that dalton hoped wapol would come to his senses and that wapols father was a good man. We can deduce that something went wrong with wapol to put him on a dark timeline. A incident in his life caused him to abandon the ideology of his father. Something dalton believes in and at one point believe wapol would eventually return to.

The basic backstory of hiriluk was something he saw caused him from going to being a no good thief to someone with ideals. It's like the cherry blossoms put him back onto his good timeline. Even though he was still sick and dying, his heart was good.

It would be pretty poetic for the something to have wapol also have a change of heart like dalton wanted him to. It's called the drum kingdom! It's gotta have some Nika lore attached to it.

Wapol will eventually become the kind of king his father was. Maybe even with dalton as his vice king.

I'm trying to guess how the Davy clan, Davy jones, Davy back fights, king of the world, and joyboy all fit together.

There's a few facts we can build off of.

-The 20 kingdoms allied themselves against the ancient kingdom. And possibly Davy jones himself.-

-mythos is usually(within the op universe) distorted from truth. The mythos of strawhat Luffy is very different from the man himself-

-the Davy clan considered Davy Jones the king of the world. While Imu explicitly states he never held the title-

-joyboy was the first pirate-

-the ideals of the 20 founding nations(aside from alabasta) promote racial exclusion-

-the minks and the fishman have each remained elusive since the void century.-

Addressing king of the world: a lot of the fan base uses this title to justify "Davy was evil". That kind of take is often using some sort of real world rationale. But within the one piece universe something like that doesn't have to be explicitly evil. Imagine if Cobra were king of the world. How would he expect other kings to conduct themselves? A king of the world is just a figure head to make sure other nations continue following the ideology.

There's really no reason to explicitly assume rocks was evil for wanting to be king of the world or that Davy was. We should judge rocks based on his actions as a character and what he was trying to achieve.

The Davy back fights are to steal crew mates. That's really the core of it. I don't think it's a crazy reach to assume the Davy back fight was created by Davy jones.

So I believe Davy Jones won joyboy in a proposed fight. Aka Davy Jones telling joyboy "if I defeat you then you join my crew". Thus starting the mythos of the Davy back fight. If we still haven't been given more lore on it, then its likely oda is omitting it intentionally.

I've said this before and received only negative criticism. However joyboy being on a crew isn't some sort of "diss". Oden wasnt a captain and yet he was still a legendary person. Joyboy being a captain then joining Davy gives him a Oden like setup. Ie being on davys crew is like when Oden went to rogers. It could be where his real legends come from.

Since Imu became king of the world instead of Davy, zou has been permanently moving. And the fishman have stayed underwater. Until the age of pirates, being underwater kept them relatively safe just like zou.

That should be the biggest hint that Davy wasn't evil. Imu and the kings who followed him were.

TLDR: joyboy was a captain till he lost to Davy jones. Thus joining his crew and starting the origin of the "Davy back fight"
