I’m really sorry if this isn’t the place to ask this question,

I just moved, I have a nice size shop on my property that I want to purchase a Mill for, something small like a Haas VF1.

My shop is older, has exposed wood studded walls. Would it be advisable to cover the wall in, for example, a steel or aluminum corrugated panel, for added protection from bumps and scrapes but also to hopefully avoid moisture getting on the wood and mold growing?

They just came storming out of the gates and didn’t let up for one second, what a hell of a show.
