wondering if anyone knows/has a general idea for dimensions of the shelfs under the drawer - i want to get baskets to put on them but don't want to get one too big or have a lot of leftover space if it's too small
i play the clarinet, and really enjoyed playing throughout high school.. my school wasn't the best, but to be frank i'm good (first chair in all-county, area all state, etc)
i'm looking at some music groups and am trying to decide which i'd want to do/audition for..
i think doing the university band would be fun and something i know, but i'm not sure if i should look into doing another group that i'd have to audition for (and if i did, how competitive it is)
i've also looked a little into the athletic band, i think this would be super fun, but i don't think i'd be able to do athletic and concert band my freshman semester (mostly just due to time).. does anyone have any advice/personal stories?
also, would anyone know if the a-band is audition only? i didn't think it was, but the course description says you must audition
edit: also, maybe weird predicament, but i'd love to take the skydiving class... it's one week mon/tues/thurs, so it will conflict with either the a band or concert band. does anyone have insight in attendence policies for these groups? or should i put a pause on the skydiving lol
i only knew about this from a reddit post, so with orientation happening now and as a student who is now benefiting from this, please go talk to them. the only requirements are:
- served 90 (+) days active duty
- honorable discharge
- then they ask if you're biological/adopted

i'm thinking about getting some sort of cover for my dorm chair (in case the cushion looks a little gross/stained) - if anyone has gotten one before, what did you get/where did you get it?
(also i don't know if dorms have different chairs but i'm looking at the ones in morrison tower)

my computer had disconnected from the wifi and was unable to be turned back on. we had tried a few different ways to fix it, but nothing was working so i logged onto another computer and was able to submit it through there. the proctor saw on the screen that it was submitted, but i'm scared with this issue and the screen refreshing (it showed the computer start up page as it was getting submitted) that something will have gone wrong and they won't receive my mcq to score. if i wanted, i could probably redo the test, but i felt pretty confident on this one and obviously don't want to stress about it for another week. we're going to try and reach out to see if they'll tell us if they have any answers recorded or anything for my mcq, but if they won't tell us i don't know what i should do
i've had a crush on my friend since this fall, and i can't tell if the feelings are reciprocated or if there's any reason to try and find out. in the beginning of this year, i tried to just ignore it and focus on being friends, but we recently were out of town together, and multiple times i had fallen asleep like in her lap (long bus rides), we literally fell asleep spooning the other night, and just all the time we spent together like made me just so happy
i'm really just confused because i don't know if it's reciprocated - she's said that she's never had a crush on anyone, but i don't know if she's just saying that or what. i also know that she's definitely queer based off our conversations. as far as the cuddling goes, it came up as a joke, but then we actually did and i fell asleep that way
anyway, we're both leaving for college this fall and we'll be very far away from each other, so i don't really know if there's even a point to trying something out, or even mention it to her. part of me just wants to like drunkenly confess just to have it brought up, but i know that's a horrible (and insensitive) idea
