WatchMojo’s CEO is at it again in the comments. This time making weird, unrelated commentary on parenting and disparaging teachers. 🤔

Context: WatchMojo made the following post: “Would you want to watch a WatchMojo-inspired, original comedy series right here on this channel?”

I’d been looking for a new mindless and comforting TV show to put on in the background to quell my daily anxiety and found it in King of the Hill. Perhaps a stupid post to make, but it’s helping me enough that I wanted to share.

Give it a try! Ah tell you hwhat.

Edit: Want to make it clear I’m not a plant from Hulu taking advantage of people in the anxiety Reddit to promote the new season.

Simply a legitimate and well-intentioned recommendation for anxiety relief. Have started watching from the beginning, I’m on season 2 now. I didn’t watch it while it was first airing for some reason, but I prefer that I’m seeing it now for the first time, at a time when I need its serene simplicity.

I’m looking for comprehensive historical and technical resources on the original construction of the berm around Disneyland and how rides and lands have been built beyond it, through tunneled queues and what-have-yous and what-nots

Gimme articles on the historical and technical and any blueprints and schematics! I should’ve been bookmarking this stuff beginning like two decades ago, I can’t find anything substantial tonight.

Edit: I’m afraid this came across as “GIVE ME ANAHEIM CITY BLUEPRINTS and official Disney literature” when I meant I was looking for “fan”-written histories on the berm, hopefully including old hand-drawn schematics.

For example, I remember seeing an image of some hand-drawn schematics for The Haunted Mansion produced during its conception. I’m looking for those sorts of uploads of original industrial designs/plans + historical write-ups as they relate to the building of the berm and the complicated constructions of rides/lands beyond it.

Anyone remember a 2007 fanvid set to this song? Help me out here dammit.

No, NOT the creepypasta-esque song from that mannequin YouTube video. THIS song.

It was set to clips of Wilson on SPEEEEEEEED and was more pixels than it was Hilson. I think it existed on LiveJournal 19 years ago, which is to say, it likely doesn’t exist. But I’m still hopeful! Does anyone have it?

While I’m at it: Does anyone remember a Hilson vid set to “Oo-De-Lally” (Robin Hood and Little John) from around the same time? Anyone have it?

Look, I’m too old to be coy about this stuff.

It always catches me off-guard, how genuinely funny this bit from Hobgoblins is

Did anyone else's brain go "Wow, Crow and Servo have barely aged!" when they first saw this?

It was only like half a second, but it was half a second too long. (I also thought, "Wow, they got Bobo AND
Brain Guy??" three different times.)

A wee product of ‘89, this is my first solid memory of MST3K

If you haven’t seen Silent Running, you’ve gotta rectify that. It was one of Joel’s main influences in his conception of MST3K. Watch it. Do it for Joel. Do it for 1972. Do it for Bruce Dern. Do it for Joan Baez.

It’s legitimately a very good film. 💕
