I tried some AMAZING plov with beef a few days ago and I cannot stop thinking about it. I really want to learn how to make it at home. Thanks in advance for any answers
I went to Brighton Beach yesterday and as is tradition for me when I go to that beach, I make a stop at Tashkent Mkt for snacks. I got some of the Samarkand plov with beef from one of those side counters (instead of one of the big salad bars) and the difference in quality was significant. The salad bar is very nice, but this plov was just the best plov I have ever had. With that in mind, I would now like to try some plov in a proper restaurant. Any recs would be appreciated
Its a collaboration between Hamburger America and Brennan & Carr in Brooklyn. I gotta say it was nothing special. I was expecting to have my socks knocked off, but I was a little disappointed. It was tasty, but honestly, your basic classic Hamburger America smashburger with cheese is just as good.
