Can I request a replace in kind settlement from the other driver's insurance?

I was recently in an accident where the other driver's Allstate insurance accepted full responsibility.

After taking the car to a local collision shop, it has been declared totalled, and Allstate is offering me several thousand dollars less than what I would need in order to purchase the same vehicle with the same mileage.

Is it possible to get them to do some sort of "replace in kind" arrangement where they pay for the same vehicle with the same mileage and similar condition if I can find one?

Edit: I am in New Jersey. My own insurance, Progressive has been entirely unhelpful because I agreed to file through Allstate.

Edit 2: Ok, I've got it. ACV is the only option.

Reviving a friend's dead rig and need some help picking a new CPU and Mobo.

###Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

PC gaming and potentially running an AI model

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

Comparable to the video card and RAM I already have, see below

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

$1250 for a new monitor, motherboard, and CPU, but I'd really prefer to stay under $1000

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

USA

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.

A friend of mine had their CPU and motherboard die on him due to the i9 voltage instability issues, and through a mix of wanting to help me out and not wanting to take things apart himself, has decided to sell the rig to me and use that money + the warranty pay out to build a new PC. I'm getting it in a few days, and I need to decide on a new motherboard and CPU to replace the old ones. I'm more familiar with intel chips, but after his experience, I'm going to go with AMD this time around.

I'm having some trouble because all of the reviews and benchmark tests I've been finding are from 2024, and as I understand it, the firmware updates since then have had a significant impact on both performance and stability. I'm also having decision paralysis on my motherboard options, without a great feel for how much I'd be giving up going with a $200 board like the MSI MAG X870E GAMING MAX WIFI vs MSI MPG X870E CARBON MAX WIFI. Does it really just come down to the number of ports, as long as I have enough memory slots?

How far away would an alien civilization detect us from?

This is really more a question about how close a civilization would need to be to us to detect, but there seem to be few variables going in this direction.

Suppose an alien civilization had precisely the same technology as us, what is the furthest away they could be and detect us using radio telescopes (so not spectroscopy of our atmosphere suggesting life might be present).

Let's say that the first radio signals to escape the ionosphere were from the 1936 Olympics broadcast. That would put the upper limit as 90 light-years, but I have no idea whether our radio telescopes would be able to detect that signal. It seems unlikely, given how weak those signals were in comparison to modern signals.

As you shrink the distance, the signal should get stronger both due to less diffusion and higher output as Earth put out stronger and stronger signals.

How tight would that circle need to get before our current telescopes would be able to tech ourselves?
