long story short i had a post on here called "my fan sounds like a dying duck" can check my account to see the post, i than got in contact with thermal grizzly support and they sent me money to replace the fan myself.

I went to replace the fan and one of the tiny Philips screws on the back stripped really easily and made the unit inaccessible to open. so thermal grizzly decided to send me a brand new wirepro2 out of good gesture, which I'm super thankfully for!

I received my new unit yesterday and unfortunately it was faulty I installed it in my system and I got current imbalance on pin 5 and 6, I replaced the 12vhpwr cable and still I got the same warning. I than installed the splitter with 4 8pins that came with my 4090 and still pin 5 and 6 was pulling 0 current. I hooked up my old stripped screw broken fan wirepro2 and I have a nice even current distribution. I than hooked up the replacement wirepro 2 in a friends system and pin 5 had 0 current underload. 

for some reason there is zero current going through pin 5 and 6 on the new unit, and i mean 0 current its like 0.12 current underload while other pins are at 5.4 to 5.5

i sent an email regarding my frustration and every time they send me something i got to pay duties and taxes here in Canada, i have yet to hear back.

so I reapplied Liquid Metal after having some over heating, everything went smoothly until it didn't. I put the console back together and the eject and power buttons don't work. I can start the console using the PS button on a dual sense or putting a disc in the drive. The drive ejects using the triangle button on the dashboard .

the ps5 runs fine super quiet otherwise and can game for hours I check the ribbon cable coming from the buttons and it was seated fine, I did try some 99% alcohol on the connector incase and small Liquid Metal droplet got in it somehow but no success.

the ribbon cable does look a little squashed and crooked but it has no rips or holes to indicate its broken. I ordered a new power button and eject button with a new ribbon cable (EDS-030 / EDS-020) and see if that fixes front buttons not working.

I wanna mention usb also works fine. usb c and a and the led.

is there any other things I could try or am I missing something?

This driver not only broke something with smooth motion entirely, but gsync as well. In my monitor's UI I can see it bounce from 240hz (monitor refresh) to whatever my FPS in the game is over and over again, causing a super stutter and framey experience I tried BF6 and Pragmata with the same effect. First time I've had to roll back over an issue. Tarkov seems to be the worst example of gsync being broken.
