I’ve been playing with a Pure Aero VS (2020) and I really, really like it. Since I couldn’t find another one for a reasonable price, I picked up a 2026 Pure Aero 98 for €110 on Vinted, which I think was a steal.

I was wondering: if I match the specs of the new Pure Aero to those of the VS, will they play similarly? I’m not expecting to replicate the feel completely, especially with the extra dampening of the new model, but do you think they’ll be close enough to allow me to switch mid match?

I strung my racket for the first time using a 2-point mounting machine. After I finished, I noticed two small indentations at the head and throat of the racket. Will this affect performance or durability? Is the frame now more prone to cracking, or is this purely cosmetic? I only noticed it after removing the racket from the machine.

I’m accepting advice for it to not happen again
