Currently on a quest for a better mattress for back pain but it’s been doom & gloom.

Looking into high quality local mattress manufacturers now- does anyone have any recommendations?

I’m 5’3, ~125-130lbs, 35f
Mostly side, but tosses to back sleeper

I’ve had horrible back pain for years that over the last couple of years has turned into horrible hip pain, too. After doing PT and mobility work and feeling so much better during the day, I realized my mattress is the main culprit.

I’ve been sleeping on Zinus memory foam mattresses for years (at first loved it- so soft, so cheap, perfect in my 20s)

What happens is I start on my side and within minutes feel my intercostal rib muscles warm up like they’re on fire. Then I toss all night to stop it and wake up in low back pain with right hip pain and overall tightness up my whole back. My PT and masseuse said they’ve never felt a back as tight as mine.

After looking on here, I called Sleep on Latex. They recommended a 3inch medium topper. While I’ve been waiting on it, I’ve slept on an air mattress and my very hard leather couch for 2 weeks. All back/hip pain is gone. My shoulders will ache when Im on my side, but it’s nothing compared to the back/hip pain.

I finally got the SOL today and made it til 2am before I was in too much pain. I feel like I immediately sunk in and the pain started within minutes.

I’m so overwhelmed. I’m losing so much sleep and feeling my mental health tank because of the lack of sleep and physical pain. I’m also confused trying to read through recommendations, and I don’t have $1,500-$2,000 to drop on a fancy mattress.

I was going to call SOL tomorrow to exchange for a firm topper, but I keep reading that they’re bad for side sleepers. But right now my hard couch is the only thing that feels good.

I’ve hated this company from the second I’ve needed to use their customer service.

I’ve had these feeders for 2 years. One feeder I went through customer service for a year with issues nonstop, eventually they decided my feeder had been hacked via WiFi (someone was feeding my cats all day and talking in the mic) and sent me a replacement.

My other feeder stopped working 2 weeks ago. I went through the song and dance with customer service, and as soon as they realized it was broken they said they’d send it to their supervisor for a replacement. It’s been 7 business days and I’ve sent 2 follow ups, tried calling endlessly, and sent in 2 additional requests asking for an update. I also messaged on Instagram. Nothing. Silence.

What am I supposed to do? I’m under warranty but too far for a chargeback.

I guess my next option is to order a new one from Amazon and replace it with the broken one. I mean, if they resell it despite me saying it doesn’t work, the person would immediately realize it doesn’t work. Id get a different brand but since I have 2, I need the feeders to go off at the same time. I feel like Im stuck with Petlibro until the other one breaks too.

Im at a loss. These feeders are too expensive for this shit.
