Finally bought the Taylor kit and fired up PoolMath
I think I was just getting lucky for decades measuring only ph and total chlorine with a probably expired $7 walmart test kit but I've really struggled the last 3 years. Vinyl 30,000L AGP.
Poolmath seems to be guiding me to a FC of 6 but my K-1005 kit just goes to 5+. Is there a method/practice to differentiate FC levels in the 5-8 range?
My levels were FC 5+, TC 5+ (both really pink) pH 7.2, TA 40, CH 120, CYA <30
In two measurement steps I've added 1.5kg baking soda, 700g stab, 635g borax, 2.7kg CaCl and 300ml liquid chlorine. It was crazy to put this much *hit in but I have to buy into the process.
How do I know if my FC is at 6? or 7??

The battle was over before I realized it had started.
I wonder what the next pair will be? Where am I going to hide all these? So many questions.
The crazy difference between these boots is so fun to experience. One pair are light, supple slippers (out of the box) and the others are double armored, military grade demo tools.
The Vellies don't even feel like a break in is an actual thing - the 719s are staunchly resisting after a month of effort.
