Unfortunately I'm a Browns fan, watching the Browns Bears game now but looking to get into NFL alot more this year (already prepared for sadness) but what's advice that people have for someone wanting to be generally able to get by in a conversation? Most important players across teams that I should know, what other teams should I pay attention to, what are the like 4 must-know names in a team. Would love any advice!

Edit: to clarify I'm from Cleveland so been around Browns fans my whole life, my dad and sister are Browns fans I was just lame so never really watched much when I was younger

Do you think a TV show, movie, book series whatever genre always needs to have a genuinely evil person or a clearcut villain? Like it can have morally grey villains that you feel for etc but still needs to have someone to genuinely root against without feeling bad about it. Thinking Palpatine vs Vader for Star Wars, Assail vs Crippled God Malazan (book series), White Walkers vs Cersei for GoT, etc I'm sure there's other examples.

Who do you all see as the most promising players in Indian domestic first class cricket that should / may earn a test-cap? Batters, all-rounders, bowlers, etc. Thinking about like R Smaran, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Tanush Kotian, Saransh Jain (I know he just earned a call-up but same idea).

Been seeing alot of posts on my instagram feed about cauliflower and broccoli steaks. Most of them involve cutting a cross section of the vegetable and then searing it on both sides in butter garlic (and I'd probably try some like rosemary or sage with it). Then plating it on top of some butter beans mixture, or baba ghanoush, or hummus, and then putting a sauce like chimichurri on top and then feta. Has anyone made these types of ones before and if so any advice?

Just finished reading Forge of the High Mage, solid book but honestly I preferred his Novels of the Malazan Empire to tPtA, these felt more like an action reel rather than a mix of slow and fast which I've come to appreciate from Malazan. Erikson books are definitely the epitome of this, where you have huge action in some parts and then slow moments in others where you feel like time is passing versus like page-count limited books that move super fast. Even Blood and Bone had solid moments of action and otherwise more dreamy qualities. Balance is good, haven't felt that from Path to Ascendancy.

Side note: there felt like alot of moments in Forge of the High Mage where he would say (XYZ which is, well, ABC). Annoyed me mildly.

Disclaimer: I do actually like alot of ICE books, his way of scene setting and well, setting description. Himatan in Blood and Bone is a strong example, Malaz Island in Night of Knives, and the ice fields of Assail.
