Just a quick update on the shadowless card we had in the other day, thanks to everybody that gave us advice. We ended up ordering a new digital microscope, which helped us look further into the cards print structure. This helped convince us of how fake the card was in comparison to the first edition cards, modern cards, or any other Pokémon card out there - it simply could not be matched. I’m attaching a few images here for everybody to look over as a base, if anyone ever has these issues in the future. This card was very convincing, had it not been for us finding out about this print structure we’d have listed it on eBay and potentially sold a fake card. Not something we ever want to do.
OK guys, so I started sim racing a few week ago and instantly knew I needed to upgrade everything. I just wanted to dip my toe in to see if I’d like it, so I bought the PlaySeat Evo from Argos here in the UK. The Logitech G923 wheel and pedals, and the shifter. Then bought the shifter mount off Amazon for the PlaySeat.
All well and good, however instantly knew I needed a better rig as it was wobble, and just generally rubbish. Shopped around and ended up buying the GT1 Pro from Simlab, which was an absolute ball ache to put together. However, it’s now done.
Few weeks back someone crashed into my 2011 Honda Civic Type R and set the airbags off including the drivers seat. I’d planned to use that actually seat on the rig, but the rails are too long and don’t fit the cross members. So I was left with no seat, until someone gave me the idea to use the PlaySeat on it, even if just temporarily. Since the shifter plate is attached to the seat, it worked out quite well.
What do you think?
Plan to upgrade to RS50 wheel and G Pro racing pedals within the next month.
