Anyone else notice this thing is getting uncontrollably hot to hold on the newest GammaOS Nano build? The outside temps are reaching 50 degrees and it’s not very fun to hold in that situation.
The Odin 3 only reaches temps like that when it’s emulating AAA PC titles or PS3/Xbox 360. Yikes!
I checked yesterday and it said it would ship in 6 days. I’m guessing they’re prioritizing Ali customers to get their payout? Either way if you have a batch 7 from the Ali store see if yours is on the way!

I don’t see a lot of people talking about this, but it seems like kind of a big problem for a console that’s big feature is rotating screen.
Every time I close the screen for more than about 15 minutes, when I return the game/emulator quits and returns me to ES-DE or the Android Home Screen.
I can’t be alone in this, am I?
I heard Russ had some “accidental” power ons that he assumed was due to erroneous power button pressing, however I have a new idea.
My Rotate will often be a sleep, as it was here on a desk, when all the sudden the Anbernic boot screen comes on and the unit restarts. It happens several times an hour. I’ve seen it do this everyday since I received it last week.
I’m wondering if the accidental power on cycles people are seeing is actually a product of the device restarting from a sleep state.
I haven’t messed around too much in settings as I’m waiting for GammaOS before I start really customizing it. Currently the rotate settings are set to: Slide out setting - Wake and Unlock, Slide into Setting - Lock Screen
Anyone else see anything like this?
TLDR: unit keeps restarting while in sleep mode with nothing touching it.
