Hello, I have an old hp compaq nc 6320, I mostly use it to burn CD's for my other retro computing projects and its the only computer that will talk to my USB external floppy drive. (mostly cause its running windows 7) Ive also had to accasionally use it for all the various outdated and strange ports it has. I want it to run better (i will be giving it an SSD) so Im wondering what version of linux would work best for all this (I do also occasionally play half life 1 on it through steam) It previously had an ancient version of mint, but I traded that for windows 7. And it hates running windows 7 lol, Sorry I know this question comes up alot but all help is appreciated!

Hello I recently got windows 98 installed on my gateway G6-333c. I have quite a bit of ram and alot of hard drive space but I bought the wrong soundcard (soundblaster audigy 2 sb0400) I could not find good drivers for it, I think it was too new. But Im looking into getting another soundcard. I also want to get some sort of graphics or 3d accelerator card, im just not sure what to get because all of this is very new to me. (also slightly worried about cooling) So i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions? (here is my motherboard, I cannot swap it out because gateway has OEM header connectors for some reason https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/intel-mu440ex-maui )

Also my PSU is 200w.

When ever I attempt to take a screen shot the screen turns black. This obviously indicates that the characters are very shy as they will not allow themselves to be photographed.

This is a stark contrast to their phlamboyant, colorful nature.

Is this a subtle nod to the respect that Vizie has towards this color?
