Hey all, but I'm hoping someone here has been through this process .

I'm converting a foreign licence, so this is a conversion application with the KVR, not a first-time licence. Status so far:

Theory test: passed, and it covers both A and B
Practical Class B: passed today
Practical Class A (motorbike): not taken yet, as I have to take some classes and book the exam first.

The examiner gave me a TÜV confirmation letter that says it's not a licence. From what I read on the KVR site, because my application includes more than one class, the card can't be issued early. I'm supposed to show this letter to the KVR to get a provisional licence so I can drive in Germany meanwhile.

Where and how do you apply for the provisional licence? I checked the city appointment portal but couldn't find a service that clearly fits.

How long did the actual card take to arrive for you?

Did anyone else converting a foreign licence run into this multi-class situation?

I’m moving into a new apartment near Münchner Freiheit (Schwabing) and, as is typical here, it doesn’t come with a kitchen. I need to get one fitted myself and was planning to buy from IKEA.

The catch: my landlord doesn’t have a kitchen plan for the unit, so I don’t have documentation on where the water supply, drainage, or electrical sockets are. Honestly, I don’t trust myself to figure this out and measure it correctly on my own, so I really need external help here. I’d want someone to come measure the space, document the existing connections, and put together a proper plan I can then use to design the kitchen on the IKEA website.

I tried booking the IKEA kitchen planning service, but their site keeps telling me it’s not available in my location, and I haven’t been able to book a call either. So I’m looking for a local alternative in Munich, basically an independent kitchen planner or a handyman/Schreiner who can produce a measured drawing with the connection points marked.

Does anyone have a recommendation? Bonus if they speak English
