we need a buff/rework update for old survivors (IMO)

we need a buff/rework update for old survivors (IMO)

some survivors need changes even regardless of dlc powercreep, like commando or my favorite engie's walking turrets, which are genuinely just worse than stationary ones even if we forget about the wall clipping bug.

Some other old survivors are good by themselves but the more dlcs come out the more powercreep happens and the worse old survivors seem in comparison to the new ones. I'm not a fan of powercreeping everything in the game but at this point I feel like 1 update that powercreeps old survivors (edit: not by buffing everything they have, more like by buffing their worst skills and maybe adding new ones) would be good just to put them at or at least close to the level of new ones, especially considering that we're getting 2 more new ones soon and I'm pretty sure they're gonna be broken af like the previous ones

edit: to clarify I don't want to buff every skill of every old survivor, just specific skills that are clearly too weak, no buffs for loader here

Votann or Tau?

Hello fellow beards and beer enjoyers, I'm a big high technology fan along with having a passion for artillery, big guns and high firepower in general, and it usually lands me playing dwarfs in a lot of different games and universes, but in wh40k votann seem to lack most of these things in comparison to other factions like tau, which really draw me in with giant mechs loaded with guns and general extremely high tech aesthetic.

I also like votann a bit more than tau lore wise, I prefer my units to be motivated by pure greed and capitalistic profit rather than some "greater good", and I already bought a bunch of votann units because I'm a compulsive buyer of any plastic produced by James Workshop.

So the question is: should I wait for James to release based dwarf technological advancements (if it ever happens) and expand my bearded men collection or is it more rational to switch to blue anime men who already have all the possible cool tech available?

(Seen a similar post here earlier and thought that I also had the same question)

can one collect tau without ever touching kroots?

I'm a big fan of high technology vibe of tau but primitiveness of kroots doesn't do it for me. Are kroots (and other primitive parts of tau faction if there are any) important for collecting tau?

how to fix infinite connection and abnormal connection bugs?

Me and my buddy wanted to get into the game after 3 years of not playing and we literally can't, I am having a bug where I am able to get into the game (main menu) but after about 30 seconds I am kicked out with "the connection to server terminated abnormally" and my buddy is having an infinite connection bug.

It also gave me notifications to switch hvci and secure boot on and I did that, didn't change anything and I'm still kicked out after 20-30 seconds.

What to even do here?

edit: can get into character selection menu but unable to go into lobby

found out about the game yesterday from a pic in comments under some random post and immediately loved it, researched a lot about the game and factions and a bit impulsively bought a gravediggers starter based on the aesthetic, but after some more research it seems like gameplay wise khymaeras are better for me.

I love fast glass cannon gameplay style and I think khymaeras suit it more, but also I love the tacticool (and a big load of guns) of gravediggers. What do you guys think about those factions, which one would you choose? Sorry if the post is low quality, I just love choosing factions and am a bit stuck on this one
