A couple of Nyrro Strygons
Following up on my post with the starter box as people seemed to like the colour scheme.
Got two of the faction's workhorses done up. One is magnetised for head and arm swaps (the other isn't because... mistakes were made... 🤣)
Lovely models but man, Skrone titain levels of base overhang on these guys. Hope no one wants to get b2b with them...
Necrofactorium modular warjacks tables and charts
Hi all! I was curious to see the spread in cost of all Malefactor builds (64), Raptor builds (16) and Hellraker builds (8, but really 6 because of duplicate weapons), so I built a little something in Excel to find out. You can find the sheet here:
Perhaps somebody else finds this interesting and/or helpful as well!
Update 19-08-2026: amended the link for full access.
Lore question: Grendel
Hi all! Does anyone know if Grendel is the personal warjack of one of the Necrofactorium warcasters? Hades is Nekane's, that we know. Grendel comes in a box with Sepsira, but I haven't seen anything yet that presumes they belong together.
YT Short: Watch this before you Nymara!
In this short we dig into the math behind Nymara's ability "cuddle"...erm..."murder" and how to use it most efficiently.
Two cool looking armies on the table today 🔥 (apologies for 2d terrain, just easier when playing at my place!)
Cephelax Slayers and mind theif
Got a unit of slayers and the mind theif done. Full army shot as well.
Next up will be a 2nd Iconoclast unit to finish my 100pt Thexus list.
Need help finding the art of an official card
I’m wanting to get a tattoo of Circle of Orboros runes. For some reason I remember on War Room 2 the cards had the placards of some art, specifically the casters with a ring of runes around the art.
Does anyone have a pretty good quality picture or screenshot of Kromac2’s card so I can find the runes from them? Very strange ask I know, but I figured I’d check here lol
Edit: I found a couple different circle caster cards and turns out the runes are around their Fury count and they’re same for each caster lol. So if anyone has any high quality pictures/screenshots of any of the circle cards, that is appreciated lol
Finally Landed On a Scheme
After just starting the game. One 30 point game in, I wanted a custom Khador scheme that still showed homage to khador red. This is what I came up with. Battle damaged of course because... Khador. But armor suited for the tundra and more fitting to the "Winter Korps" name (imo) and bold red helmets and weapons to show we are still Khador.

warmachine.ggCrucible Guard: When, Where & How?
Hello everyone, can someone clue me in on what we know about when Crucible Guard will be released as physical boxes in Europe? Also, to my understanding they will be updated to count as a Prime Faction at some point (based on the note on Warmachine Academy); do we know if that's still happening and when it's expected to drop? And if it does, do we know how they'll be restructured?
Wildly speculating, I'd expect 1) their warjack chassis to gain Loadout options like the Prime factions have, 2) for Rocketmen (ie Bennet et al) to be treated as their own 'cadre' alongside 3) a suite of general tweaks. Cadres are kind of obsolete at this point (to my understanding), but thematically the structure would make sense and mirror what already exists. What do you expect to see, if it all goes through?
I was trying to square the dates of the Everseal purge last night only to have Google's AI quote MY OWN WORDS BACK AT ME.
Terrain Discussion: Some 2D vs. ALL 3D?
This is a fairly simple subject on it's face, but I think there's room for discussion here, so I thought I'd ask the question: should all of the terrain pieces on the board be uniformly 3D (either sculpted or printed)? Or is it okay to have some 2D pieces to represent terrain (for example, forests/trees or water) that would get in the way of movement and block LoS, but would ALSO interfere with the models moving around the table? Personally, I don't mind a mix of the two, but to be fair, I don't have a lot of expendable income and I'm not very crafty, so the only terrain I have are some clusters of 3D printed rocks and paper cut-outs that represent forests and small lakes.
NOTE: This question is mainly for more experienced, IRL tables. I know about Wartable, but the entire thing is 2D, so it doesn't count for this purpose, and completely new players are more likely to use paper cut outs for terrain as they get used to the game (not guaranteed, but likely).
Thinking about returning to the game
I found some of my boxes I picked up a few years ago when privateer press did their mystery boxes, is any of this usable? Or should I sell it off and start fresh?
