This was at the Bunker Brewpub in Virginia Beach, VA on 8/28/2026.
This was the first stop in their tour with Macseal and Aren't We Amphibians, and this show included local band Padfoot. The other three bands were excellent as well.
Just blasted "Can't Kick Up the Roots" by Neck Deep and got me thinking about those kind of songs.
What's your favorite example?
Nine Sols might honestly be at the top for me. Before this I've played Hollow Knight, Salt and Sanctuary, Momodora: RUTM, Blasphemous, The Last Faith, and Ender Lilies. I haven't gotten around to playing Silksong though.
This game there's just so many mechanics you have to master, and technically this isn't an RPG so you can't just grind to improve your stats. I'm on day 3 of trying to beat Eigong and yeah I can see how everyone compares her to Isshin from Sekiro.
What do you think?
Used to be if a game had that stuff that would've always been M for mature. Times sure have changed.
