Microtonal Conlang Digital Temple

Microtonal Conlang Digital Temple

Over the course of the last year, I assemebled a digital temple complex in Unreal, using vaibbahk, my ritual conlang.

Vaibbahk has a 24edo melody for every root word, which is then transposed grammatically to indicate suffixes.

These melodies are spatially located throughout the temple complex so that you hear the ritually appropriate melodies depending on where you stand and look.

The whole temple is free here: https://alleywurds.itch.io/vaibbahk-elemental-temple-complex

And so is its companion book: https://alleywurds.itch.io/ritual-environments

Enjoy!

How might you position your self like the blades of a wing in trailing clouds of smoke?

All experience is a temple, evolving in all directions at once.

Every moment is both sacred and mundane, shining shining shining.

Your every moment is temple work. Every repeated action is a ritual. What imprints do they interface with?

What temples have you constructed around yourself and your self?

What rituals do your daily temples suggest to you? What imprints are juxtaposed?

What forces shape the evolutions of the temple architecture?

How might you position yourself like the blades of a wing in trailing clouds of smoke?

How might those clouds of smoke coallesce into new configurations of temple?

How do you become a builder of your temple?

In what ways should you build it?

As temples are daily thrown upon your imprints, how do those temples cause those imprints to change?

How do other assemblages interact with these temples?

What infinite subdivisions of being do you share temples with?

How does the local population of assemblages impact the temple ecosystems as they co-interact and dynamically evolve?

I made an open source grammar for the creation of ritual languages and built a digital temple complex in unreal

I've been circling sots for years now, and have spent plenty of time engaged with the related literature, especially Deleuze. I don't know that I have too much to contribute to the dialogue between spectacle and sorcery, but I have quite a lot to say about aesthetic grammars and analysis of ritual.

I guess I've published 11 grimoires on the topic now!

Happy to chat about topics related to all of this.

[More info]

This is an elemental temple complex using a dialect of vaibbahk, which is an open source grammar for the creation of ritual languages. This dialect is spoken equally through glyphs, postures, and music, all of which are included. The appropriate microtonal melodies for each region of the temple will play as you explore. (https://alleywurds.itch.io/vaibbahk)

A free companion book will be released later this year about the creation and use of ritual environments, and will include ample documentation about this temple complex and its many uses. Roughly, it is a highly multipurpose temple complex based around exploring the ascent/descent of nondual perception into and out of the multiplication of material reality. It is roughly modeled off of a Rose Cross.
