Wish me luck

She was getting too big for where she was so I had to move her. She's been in the same spot since I got her a year ago and I'm a little afraid. Any suggestions on what I should look out for? She's my first fiddle leaf and she's never been moved.

Over or underwatering?

I'm pretty sure I over watered her in my enthusiasm in response to all those little leaves popping up. She seems to enjoy water but I think I overdid it. Which one do you think?

Just got my Rosy Dawn order! I won't have time to plant until this weekend. How do I keep them healthy until then?

I did "the chop" to this unidentified calathea a month or so ago because I had forgotten to water it and give it sufficient light. It was down to just a few crusty leaves. The old me would have just thrown it in the compost. I moved it to bright indirect light in a room that I'm in all the time so I can't forget about it again. And look what I found today! Any suggestions? I'm afraid I'm going to over or underwater it, etc.

I have to say goodbye to my Soul Dog, my Pretty Girl, Bergitta, this weekend. She is so loved, it's hard to be sad given the parade of family members and friends coming over to say goodbye. I wanted to post the message I just got from Gitta 's "Aunt Andrea" who stopped by today to say goodbye to her while the family is at work and school. I want to say thank you to all the other pet sitters and dog walkers that love our fur babies as if they were their own. (Stoick is our other Norwegian Elkhound and Tilly is our Havanese.)

"I said hi to thing 1 and thing 2 and took them out back. Once they calmed down I left them outback and went back in to sit with Gitta. She rested her head in my hand and leaned into all the pets. I think she knew why I was there. We talked about how I know she isn’t scared to let go, but how she’s scared to leave you. I told her she has done an amazing job at holding on for a long time so she could be there for you, but that you love her too much to not help her end her fight. I told her it was okay and that I love her very much. I kissed her sweet checks and gave her treats.

Stoick seemed to understand why I was there too. He was so quiet out back even though he knew I was inside. I was trying to hold it together but them understanding just hit me hard. Tilly didn’t get it though - brain too small. She kept scratching at the door.

Sending you all the love. Thank you for allowing me to love and care for your girl."
