Modernizing Retro Zap?
I'm glad those people that wanted a recreation of classic Zap have got their figure, but I'm doubtful that we'll see a more modern mainline version of him right now. Has anyone that shares that sentiment tried doing any kitbashes to update him? I was thinking about using the vest, rpg, and helm from the Legacy Special Forces figure, but I've never tried to swap a vest from 1 figure to another, and I don't own the Special Force figure yet so am trying to figure out what can be done before I pull the trigger on that. I don't want to have to cut off the vest, but I don't know if you can remove the shoulders and butterfly joints to slip a vest off and on.
Anyway, if anyone has any pictures of an updated zap or experience with swapping vests I'd love to hear from you.

warhammer-community.comFor pushing difficulty is it just dumb to not have a plate class?
Hey all, just diving into the game. I'll be playing mostly solo or duo. I'm planning a shm/mnk/? and deciding what I want to be the third class. I want to be a dual wield attack machine, so rogue was appealing, but I'm just wondering if I'd be shooting myself in the foot not putting a plate class in there? I know monk gets an AC bonus based on low weight, but have read that it doesn't compare to the AC you get from plate. I also know that paladin would pair really well with shm/mnk, but I just wasn't envisioning plate armour. Yes, play what you want, everything can work, but I'll want to be pushing D3 and D4 and am just worried about the whole plate armour thing.
Also, as an aside, it's been like 23 years since I last played, and I didn't play monk before. There are specific weapons for monk that are like fist weapons right? I seem to remember some flashing red orb that went over the hands. Are they considered better to be using than a normal weapon?
Thanks.
