RONIN (1998)… Any fans?

This thriller from veteren John Frankenheimer is pure excellence, the script, acting and action are top draw. De Niro and Reno are brilliant in this as of course you would expect from two such excellent actors. The action scenes are pulse pounding and particularly excellent are the car chases, probably the best ever. Not only did the stunt guys risk their lives but the guys shooting the action captured some truly thrilling close up view from the cars as they speed along. The action also carries a certain degree of realism to it, the shootouts are sensible and the car chases and crashes seem very genuine no massive corkscrewing threw the air like most car chases or cars jumping 100 feet in the air. The pacing of the film was great and there was a constant chilling atmosphere. As I said before Robert De Niro and Jean Reno were exceptional particularly in their scenes together. The support cast are good too with a brief but excellent display from Sean Bean and Natasha Mchelhone and Jonathan Pryce are both good. All in all a very god way to spend a few hours.

I mean it says it all in the title🤘🏽💯🍿🐻

This movie was so crazed and ridiculous, but if you just take as a tun romp through the forest with a bear high on cocaine and looking for his next fix, you can really enjoy this.
The believability factor is near zero, but aren't most movies that are "based on actual events"? The characters and acting fit the absurd story just enough to let you laugh at them without walking out of the room.
There is some gore and blood, but that's to be expected from a BEAR high on COCAINE... At least they didn't try to give the bear "human emotions" like they do in so many other movies. It's just a bear, protecting its territory and looking for its next fix.

Mortal Kombat 1995 - It is still my favourite. I enjoy it more even with the rebooted films that came out in recent years.

Who else is excited to watch Jason David Frank’s Legend of the White Dragon🐉?

It was very unfortunate to lose him 🕊️the way we did. Cannot imagine what his family went through. I will honour his memory by watching his final performance in this film to keep myself available among friends and family who need to talk to someone for support with their mental health or otherwise🙏🏼

Mark Hamill or David Hayter as The Guyver? Should Guyver get a reboot in this superhero era?

Russell Wong’s fight scene was so awesome in Romeo Must Die. DMX’s appearance made it even more fly.

Jim Carrey in The Mask🎭

Jim Carrey is a huge part in making the 90s movie era so successful. He was exceptionally hilarious in this film playing the all too menacing subconscious revealed by The Mask. I enjoyed the film when it first came out and still enjoy watching Jim’s looney, over-the-top, physical comedy. The VFX were a digital magic with his face popping out of his skull 🤣 I still laugh when I watch this film 🎞️📼🤘🏼🍿
