Underpainting thoughts?

Does anyone under paint? I feel like it’s underrated but also quite hard to do well.

I think I’m just reaching out to see what people think of the technique and what products they use for it. I love a creamy makeup look and it find that under painting works well to make everything blend more naturally.

Do you find the technique worth it? If so what’s your favourite products or brands you use when under painting?

Thank youuuu!

Choice feminism? Please teach me.

My post was deleted my mods on a different feminist group so hopefully it’s okay to post here.

This may be a long post, sorry!

Someone online made a post that they want to be a ‘trad wife’, the comments were filled with people saying it’s anti feminist, the post sets women back years etc.

I made a comment saying something along the lines of; I always viewed feminism as the advocation of women’s freedom to choose, including the right to choose a traditional marriage if they so wish. We are so blessed that we can make decisions for our own lives. I personally cannot wait until I’m married, ridiculously in love and raising a family.

Obviously I had many replies saying choice feminism isn’t actually feminism etc. so i clarified my stance with a comment saying: just so I’m clear, I also cannot wait to own a house with my future partner, work a little part time job that I adore alongside raising a family.

Someone replied explaining feminism is focused on trying to get women out of the patriarchy, which we live in, and that just being a choice feminist won’t change anything. They then explained that most of my thoughts are rooted and influenced from social standards. And then told me I need to look at it in a deeper way as a whole.

Please correct me if I’m wrong or ignorant but surely belittling my own decisions about my future based on the idea that I’m programmed or brainwashed is discrediting that I can think for my self? Surely focusing on what modern women decide for themselves is less progressive and productive than using feminism to educate people about what is actively happening to women in other countries such as Afghanistan?

I guess I just want an easy life with someone I love, and that does include a marriage and things maybe not everyone values? I would love to stay at home and raise my children and spend my days cooking, my hobbies etc. why it is wrong for me to want that?

Please I’m only after educating myself here, please don’t be mean to me, maybe I have the wrong idea and concept.

EDIT: just so I’m clear I don’t want to be a trad wife, before I get married I fully intent to work and make my own money and buy a house. I only wanted to reach out and learn more about feminism.

Quite a few comments have been harsh, if I’m reaching out to a group for feminism and women I would have thought people would be willing to educate/ share their side of opinions. It may be clear that I didn’t know the definition or even the difference between a stay at home wife or a trad wife but at least I’m trying to educate myself. Anyways, thank you to everyone who answered, really appreciate youuu!

What is your favourite thing your wife does?

So, I know this is controversial but since I was young I’ve always just wanted to be a wife/ a mum. I was just wondering what sort of thing men love about their wives.

I’m 20, never been in a relationship and I think I want to spend the next few years preparing to be a good mum and a good woman.

Is your wife a good cook? Does she look after you, if so how?

Ps- pleaseee no hate, everyone has different dreams and goals. I just want a family and a comfy, settled life.

Thank you in advance! 💕🧁

Is the NARS pot concealer actually worth it?

I’ve been trying to figure out my makeup routine and base for sometime now- at the moment I’m finding that my acne doesn’t always get covered evenly and eventually the redness shows through. There’s been a lot of the Nars pot concealer in many base tutorials so I was just wondering everyone’s thoughts?

Is it worth it? Does cover redness and/ or spots?

NARS soft matte complete concealer- shade Chantilly.

Photography poses?

Hiii! Recently I’ve had an idea to photograph my teddy on the days I take him out however wear he’s so floppy and deflated I’m struggling with how I should make him pose?

Obviously he’s well loved with paint dried onto his nose and no stuffing in his neck…

I know it’s a silly and childish thing to do but I want to make a little travel scrap book for him. Any advice is appreciated! Thank you x

Girly hobby ideas!

Hii, I’ve recently began understanding how important hobbies are but I have no idea what to try out.

Currently I have this little hobby where I photograph my teddy in places I take him and I plan to print out the photos and make a little scrap book or ‘travel book’ for him, but I feel like it’s such a childish hobby. I also play Roblox often and all sorts of little games, so I could consider that a hobby?

I just really would like to have a new fresh idea for hobbies. Any recommendations would really help! Thank you in advance x
