Looking for Sem 1 B.Sc. AI PYQs — Midterms Starting Monday

Hey everyone! I’m a Sem-1 B.Sc. AI student, and my mid-term exams are starting from Monday.
If any senior has previous-year question papers (PYQs) for any/all Sem-1 B.Sc. AI subjects, could you please DM me and share them? PDFs, photos, or even previous questions/topics would be really helpful.
It would help me understand the exam pattern and prepare better. Thank you!

I’m taking a partial drop for IAT 2027, and sometimes I’m scared I’m making the wrong choice.

I’ve always admired the idea of becoming an astronaut. Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by space, planets, stars, and the universe.
But as I’ve grown older, I’ve started realizing that maybe research is the career I actually want.
I want to study physics, understand the universe, and work in space science/research. There’s something incredibly beautiful to me about trying to understand Brahman and the universe created by the Supreme — not just looking at it, but actually trying to understand how it works.
My dream right now is to get into IISc Bangalore through IAT 2027, preferably for the BS (Research) in Physics. My other options would be IISERs and other good research institutes.
I’m currently enrolled in another college and taking a partial drop alongside it. The difficult part is that my father doesn’t really understand why I’m doing this. His perspective is more like:
Get a college degree → get placements → get a job → settle down.
And I understand where he’s coming from. He wants stability for me.
But honestly, I don’t think I want that life.
I don’t want to spend years doing something just because it is considered the “safe” or “normal” path. I want to study something I genuinely care about. My long-term plan is to do my UG at IISc, pursue a PhD abroad, build a career in research, and hopefully settle abroad later in life.
The problem is that getting there is exhausting.
Managing regular college, assignments, attendance, commuting, and everything else while preparing seriously for IAT is really difficult. Some days I feel extremely motivated and can see the life I want so clearly. Other days I’m completely drained and start wondering whether I’m being unrealistic.
But I really want to give IAT 2027 everything I have.
My goal isn’t just to qualify. I want a top rank and I want IISc.
I know there’s no guarantee that I’ll get there. But I also know that if I never try, I’ll probably always wonder what would have happened if I had given myself one serious chance.
So I guess I’m writing this because I need to hear from people who have been through something similar.
Has anyone here taken a partial drop for IAT/IISc/IISER or for a research-oriented career? How did you manage college alongside preparation? And how did you deal with the fear that you might be choosing a path your family doesn’t understand?
I don’t want to give up on this dream just because the journey is difficult.
