anyone have a “portable” lyra rig that you use indoors in your house?

hi all! do you have an at home rig? lemme know how you like it! where you got it from, and also just random little observations and anecdotes about having an aerial rig in your house.

if you have used more than one brand of portable rig, which do you prefer and why?

how high are your ceilings? do you feel you have enough room?

i’m looking into getting a portable rig to set up at home. it will be indoors and i am intending to pretty much have it be a permanent fixture in the house. the reason i’m opting for the portable is we rent and who knows maybe i will want to take it somewhere to perform someday.

altering the waist of leggings?

hi has anyone gone about altering leggings? it’s such a stretchy fabric and i know it’s more of a special case than stiff pants.

i don’t have any experience doing this but i have a lot of leggings that fit great but could be a bit tighter on the waist and i can visualize exactly how i can stitch them up to fit better. i think cutting out a little v then stitching it up would work? are there any special considerations i need to take? i don’t really care if it’s janky on the inside, just as long as they won’t bust open while im working out lol

are your mallworld bathrooms empty or full of people?

i usually go to ones that are fully populated. last night the bathrooms were in this old public building style with full white tile and porcelain sinks, big windows with wood frames. i think the stall doors were wood too. a lot of my mallworld locations seem to be both a public space and a living area for some. i am usually a visitor. usually the places are fully populated.

the aquarium

inside it is very industrial looking. kind of like the inside of a ship. with a lot of big exposed pipes and all steel with rivets. very worn and run down. it is an aquarium but at times it feels like a school or other similar area, where a lot of people are existing here for a purpose and not strictly leisure.

the layout is a complete maze.

outside the building there is a huge man made dam and waterfall. there are also big concrete pools. kind of like water treatment pools. it is night and i somehow know people aren’t supposed to go inside. there are also strange pits filled with glowing rocks. i dont know if they are safe.

inside the aquarium, the layout is random and winding. some rooms are classic aquarium rooms but there is always that element that makes it feel very industrial.

i distinctly remember a sectiont for sea creatures that are sick from pollution. they are in these big plastic bins piled on top of each other. the room is industrial and full of giant white pipes. past this room is a locker room then a gift shop.

i am here with a family member and she puts on a necklace absentmindedly. we walk through more corridors and spaces that don’t seem very aquariumy, then we arrive at a cash register at already knows that she has the necklace on, and turns out i am carrying a jar of something. we then discover that we are being watched through hundreds of cameras.

hotel on a lake

the hotel is old looking. kinda victorian with dark wood. it is a big building that sometimes feels like it might be the place i live, other times it feels like im just visiting. the hallways are a maze. it feels like summer but the kind of summer from when i was a kid.

the hotel is on the lake. partially in the water with doors that lead directly out into the water with small docks, too small for boats. maybe for kayaks and canoes? jet skis?

there are a lot of people everywhere, i only speak to the ones i know. my cousins are here.

there is a large buffet in a big dining hall of the hotel.

photo is just something to help with the ambience. it was very green in my dream. picture a dark wood hotel here.

a pool in the ocean

and a house half submerged with ivy growing on it and the ivy was growing deep into the submerged parts. the submerged parts went down for miles, covered in ivy.

the pool was by the coast. i was in the passenger seat in a car driving by the ocean coast and we passed by this natural pool. it was still a rectangular pool shape. it was in the ocean not on the coast. looked really refreshing and fun as opposed to ominous.

i also have recurring dreams about these caves by the ocean. it’s a touristy place and idk if the caves are real or man made. but you have to go through them to get to the beach. it is usually late afternoon or night when i am there.
