Found this awesome vintage scarf at the thrift!
Kinda cool that everything but the Colts and Nostalgia Station (not sure what that was) is still kicking in one way or another

Artist is Giuseppe Bezzuoli. Thinking about hanging her in a bathroom, so she can judge my guests.
We don't know exactly how old he was; he was an adult when we made eye contact at the shelter in fall of 2018. He was a full head taller than the other cats, all leg (his shelter name was Giraffe), and when he turned around to show me his cute little tail nub I was done for.
We've been inseparable ever since, and he was just the best boy... most affectionate cat I've ever known, even knew how to give hugs, and would grab your face with his monster paws to pull you in for a welcome but kinda gross kiss. Charmed everyone who ever came into our house, from family and friends to the Comcast guy. Had a meow like Tom Waits, and liked to run around howling when he "caught" a toy mouse. Best big brother and mentor ever to our other cat, who he pretty much took under his wing the minute I brought her home as a kitten.
He developed a noticeable limp a few weeks ago, and when we brought him to the vet we got the devastating news that he had inoperable bone cancer. Though he was still himself, he declined pretty quickly, and all we could do was keep him comfortable.
He passed away peacefully at home last night, while my partner and I held him. While I'm so so glad he's not in pain anymore, I'm not sure what any of us are gonna do without him and his sweet nature. Taking him to get cremated in a few hours, and I guess I just wanted to let people know he existed.
And fuck cancer, forever. Love you always, big guy.
EDIT: thank you so much for the beautiful and kind words, everyone ❤️. He really was a special cat, and I'm glad more people got to get to know him in some way
Funnily enough, I only stopped in the thrift because I was out running errands and it was chillier than I thought it would be when I left the house. Figured I'd grab a cheap cardigan or something, but came across this instead. It fits like a dream, and the quality is insane. Plus the clasps at the waist and neck are magnetic, which is just cool
Probably gonna put magnets on the backs and stick em on the fridge. And then get hungry for Mexican food whenever I see them.
