DEADLINE TODAY (7/6) for Public Comment on PROJECT JUPITER

Project Jupiter will be powered with natural gas which is the fastest way to get data centers up and running. Use of natural gas increases green house emissions. The NM state legislature has not passed legislation to regulate emissions from microgrids for data centers. trump recently froze the funds to pay for orphaned oil wells which impacts state level efforts to cap methane leaking wells. You think this summer was hot. Just wait.

Water availability will be impacted. There was hardly any snow in the Rockies this year which impacts us downstream.

Hazardous waste from Project Jupiter will likely be dumped in the Sunland Valley public landfill.

If you have a few extra minutes, contact your state legislator and tell them we need green energy requirements on microgrids, or, better yet, a moratorium on data centers. https://www.nmlegis.gov/members/find_my_legislator
