Which platform do you prefer?

I’m curious what the seasoned users of Craft are using for their platform of choice? MacBook, Windows, Web browser, iOS devices? I started using Craft a few months ago but now I’m really getting into it. I’d like to get the most I can out of this.

I realize there are many creatives that are using Craft and you’re probably using the Apple platform for everything. However, some of us are tied into Windows for business or corporate jobs. I have both. I’d like to stick to using one for music, writing, journaling, and technology biz in a productivity environment. I use both an iPhone and iPad Air so these help when not in front of a computer. I want to make sure my next upgrade will be based on sound results for using the productivity tool I’m finding Craft to be.

What are the pros and cons to each platform?

Hi All pianist, keyboardist experts and enthusiast,

I really am curious. I played a Nord Stage 2 with 88 keys for a few years at a church we attended. Yes it sounded great. However I found the learning curve and the controls a bit complex. I’m sure if I’d spent more time with it, I would have learned everything but didn’t. Now I no longer attend this church.

I currently have a Roland A-88MKII master midi with some apps (Keyscape and Omnisphere) on MacBook Pro but would like to use the Mac for recording and live stage gigs (maybe?). So, I thought I’d look to see what’s available with built-in sounds for piano and synth, weighted, etc. However the Nord products are way outside of my very limited budget.

Would love to see your pros and cons list. Any recommendations are very welcome including other brands. I’m not sure how much I can spend so will see how that plays out after I sell some instruments including the Roland, if I do. Perhaps there are some external midi sound modules, though I haven’t had one of those for over 25 years.

Thank you!
