Driver stole my order (rant)
Just venting. Sorry that this person gives the hard workers a bad rap, but this really pisses me off. Especially because I'm undergoing medical treatment where I'm fatigued and have no appetite for a week at time, so decided to splurge with a gift card I'd been given and was pretty pumped to get my damn burrito.
Placed the order and tipped close to 30% because I had a stint delivering pizzas years ago so understand the difference a generous tip can make & paid a little extra for "priority" delivery, so I was a little annoyed to see that the driver that claimed it was starting out from clear across the other side of town and would maybe barely make it to my house within the projected time window (matters because I had to scarf it down between meetings).
Had the app open and watched them piddle around at the pickup location for an unusually long time (15+ minutes). Then head towards my house. See the car get within probably 200 yards of my front door so start heading upstairs to get it to suddenly get order cancelled notification. What the hell?
So sunk cost fallacy compelled me to drive over there myself and just buy it direct, and while checking out I give them my name/Grubhub order number as I'm paying and sure enough a driver did pick it up.
Called to report it but the non-US customer support guy didn't give me a whole lot of confidence that my purloined lunch will be avenged. I'm just having a hard time understanding how someone can be dumb enough to yoink it when their name and information is directly tied to the act, when it's easy to confirm that the goods were yoinked.

(NW Pennsylvania) what kind of beetle is this, and any idea why they're committing mass suicide in my pool?
About half an inch long. Can't recall any other time when I've had so many dead in the skimmer at once; happened several different times.
