Which laptop to buy for uni?

I'm looking for a new laptop for uni and I have a really hard time on deciding which one is the best.

I'm torn between these laptops, since they meet most of my requirements:
- Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge (15.6 inch, Snapdragon X Plus processor)
- Acer Aspire 14 AI
- Macbook Neo

My main priority is battery life (it needs to last me the whole day) and longevity!

If anyone has any experience with these laptops or has any advice then I'd love to hear it!!! :)

Is the Galaxy Book 4 Edge worth buying?

I have been looking for a new laptop for school and I was wondering if the Galaxy Book 4 Edge (Snapdragon X Plus processor, 15.6 inch) is worth buying?

The most important things for me are battery life and longevity. How good is the battery life? If anyone has this laptop then I would appreciate your opinion!

HP or Acer?

Hello, I'm looking for a new laptop for uni and I have a really hard time on deciding which one is the best.

I'm torn between the HP Omnibook 5 Snapdragon or the Acer Aspire 14 AI. They're the same price at the store that I'm buying it from.

My main priority is battery life (it needs to last me the whole day) and longevity.

If anyone has better recommendations then I'd love to hear it! (my budget is around 800 euros) Any advice is appreciated!

UvA or UU?

Hello! Last week I got my HBO Rechten (Law) propedeuse, and I'd like to transfer to the Bachelor's programme in Law at university. I've actually been torn between the University of Amsterdam and Utrecht University for quite a while now. Both universities seem great to me, and I really liked the atmosphere at both of them. I've attended the open days and also participated in student-for-a-day programmes. I was hoping I'd have a clearer idea of which one to choose by now 🥲

I was wondering if anyone here is studying (or has studied) Law at the University of Amsterdam or Utrecht University. How have you experienced the programme and the university?

And are there also people who had to choose between different universities (not necessarily for Law)? Why did you ultimately decide on Utrecht University or the University of Amsterdam?

TL;DR: I need to choose between UvA and UU for Law. If you've studied at either or had to make a similar choice then I'd love to hear your experience! :)

dealing with people laughing at you during presentations in college

I (22F) had to give a presentation yesterday, my social anxiety is pretty bad so i can get a little nervous when presenting.

There's these two girls in my class who always laugh at me when I'm presenting, I'm the only one they laugh at lol. I've been working on my self esteem and I've reached a point where I'm much more confident than I was before, but I still have a hard time dealing with these kinds of things.

It just reminds me of when I was in middle school 💀 (and i'm in the luteal phase right now so that doesn't help either 😭)

Does anyone have any tips on trying not to be bothered by this? 😅
